Purchase: On sale here in Denmark (yes, I know that John Letters are hard to com by in US/Canada)for less than $300. A real bargain, I think. reason for purchase: I had the JLX irons, and the Master Model was just newer (and ½" longer)and much better looking(semi blade, progressive offset, midsize) the JLX is pretty much "PING-style"...not that PING irons are ugly.
Pros: Fitted with Apollo Balistik R-flex (as. Rifle 5.5) I get a ½-1 club longer and lower flight compared to my old irons. and compared to Nike Combo(tested in the same week). JL irons just looks good, are "clean" irons, and gives me(12 Hcp.) just the right combination of forgiveness and blade feel(as much as you can get from 17-4 steel) Master model comes in a carbon steel version, with TT Dynamic Gold (standard) as well. This will be my next irons, if not JL comes up with a blade set. Just the irons for me. Try them
Cons: The 3 iron is only 18 dg. !! (Has been replaced with a JL TU 19 dg. s-flex Utility club.WOW!! Makes loooong par 3´s and 5´s a score possibility.) Had to replace the std. grips with lamkin crossline.
Quality: Narrow cavity. Blade looks, very nice

Review Summary: Just a mark, producer that are SO overlooked. JL makes superb quality products.
