On 2006-10-23, Count Yogi fan rated this KZG Gemini 460 a 5...(7480)

Details: 9*, Aldila NV 55 stiff, 46'.

Purchase: The Artisan Golf Shop in Kanata. Not cheap over $500.Cn.
Pros: Very predictable and at times downright boring-the ball goes as you want it. I can hit a fade or a draw as I need or I just go straight. I am not a long driver, I'm 55 with a bad neck (limiting my swing speed) but I can get the ball to carry on average 240 yards and I do get some nice bounces and rolls afterwards with this driver. I have played rounds where I have hit every fairway and my average number of misses - probably 2 - but just in the the first cut. It hits as long or longer than than all the 2006 name brands and models (I demoed a lot in early June)but it is more accurate. Nice black finish on the head, classic shape. I have heard of cracks developing in the head - nothing like that has happened to me. Next season, I'll stay with the Gemini. It is very solid and highly rated by all independent testers.
Cons: There is nothing to dislake!
Quality:

Review Summary: After a full season with this driver- no big WOW factor for me except that my score is lower than my buddies - I'm never in trouble and I'm hitting almost all my second shots from the middle of the fairway, my GIR is high. The odd thing is the no one ever talks about my distance but the sometimes 300 yard hitters are hitting their second shots before me all but 5 or 6 times a round. I believe everything starts with a good, solid drive and missing your drive is not the same as missing a five foot putt. This driver keeps me out of trouble so the tension level stays low and it seems like it was always a nice day of golf.
