On 2005-07-06, <> rated this KZG Maraging Power ProForce 65 Gold R Shaft 10.5 a 4...(5808)

Purchase: I borrowed this from my friend who lives down the street from me and I've been using it ever since.
Pros: This club is very light so if I try to hit an extremely long draw it'll go 300 yards sraight. If I try to hook it, it draws. You can really swing out of your shoes with this club. It has some go-juice behind it and I've learned how to work the ball with it (something that is impossible with the new watermellons people are swinging nowadays). I like the smaller head at appearance better. Great feel.
Cons: The shaft is too light and weak for me, but i'm poor so it'll have to do until I get more money. Ive gotten used to it anyway. I don't think it can hit quite as far nor with as much consistency as the new drivers, but it feels good when every now and then you can step up to the ball with an old beat up KZG and out-drive your buddies with their new expensive drivers. My winn grip has also worn out. Badly.
Quality: Through all these months of brutal beatings against the ground as well as skyed balls, I must commend this driver and give it an A+ on quality. It's been a long ride.

Review Summary: Good driver, just out dated. If i wrote this review a year ago, and if I had the shaft of MY choice on it, i probably would give it 5 stars. But i must rate this review on only what i've hit, and what suits me the best. I've had a lot of good times with this driver so all in all, i'd take this thing over an R7 TP any day (well, i'm exaggerating a bit, but you get what i'm saying). And besides, there are probably plenty of these lower name brands that make great, unpopular drivers so i'm just giving this club some credit for its great performance.
