Purchase: I acquired the KZG SP-700 through a shop in San Rafael, CA, revealed to me through the KZG web site. I was looking for a driver head that I could custom fit to a graphite shaft. With a fujikura Tour shaft I paid $370, which includes tax.
Pros: The club is exceptional when combined with a softer feeling ball. It has more of a "pop" sound at impact, vs. a "crash" like some other mass market clubs. It goes long, flies straight, though you can still work the ball if needed, and miss hits stay relatively true. The club sets up really well. I like the size (355cc), the pear shape and midnight black color.
Cons: The only thing I would guard against is that this might be a shade more the players club vs. the recreational club. It's not the 460cc bomber like most of what's out there today, which might be more forgiving. If you're looking for playability and a great sound and feel, look no further.
Quality: The club is very well made. The black finish holds up well, the face is tough and reveals minimal scratches.
