Purchase: Felt it was time to get custom fitted for irons to see if it would help.
Bought the irons at Pro-fit Golf, Dublin.
Great fitting and a very thorough process from the pro.
Pros: Superb irons - the best I've had. The look is fantastic. Cant believe that I'm hitting the blades (8,9,W) better than I've ever hit short irons. longer irons are better than any I've had previously. Thoroughly recommend these irons to anyone who regularaly shoots 80 or better.
Cons: Nothing - they're perfect.
Quality: As I said - the clubs look fantastic - almost too good to hit a ball with them. I have them approx 2 months and so far no problems. Review Summary: Superb irons.

Purchase: I start with a ping becu move to a callaway hawkeye. Traded in for the Callaway x16. I tend to draw the ball and the x16 made me hook it. Looked for a progressive offset or no offset club. My son told me about KZG wedges and suggested I look at the irons. I really like the look of the ZO but after hitting both at the range, I decided I wasn't good enough for the ZO and opted for the evolution. Got fitted and purchased for 625 plus tax.
Pros: You can order the set from 4 to AW instead of 3 to PW. I was debating this because I could never hit my 3 iron on any set I had previously. I decided to get the 3 to practice with at the range. So my base set was 3 to PW. This 3 iron is the easiest I ever hit. I now replaced my 7 wood and regularly use my 3 from 210 out. All the clubs are easy to hit. My fighting hook from my x16 is now a nice draw. I liked the PW so much, I ordered the AW and SW. Best set I ever hit.
Cons: Almost too nice to hit. I know I'll eventually get a ding or gough.
Only draw back is these heads are so popular my club builder hand only 1 set left (I was the lucky one), if not I would have to wait 3 weeks for the next shipment.
Quality: Got fitted with a DG R300. I had this shaft in an old set of callaway blades and really like them. Put them on these updated irons and it rocks. My golf pro did a ace job putting them together for me. Took about 1 week from fitting to delivery. Review Summary: I tried:
Hawkeyes
Eye 2 BECU
Eye 2 regular
X12 knockoffs
x16 steel shaft
an old set of callaway blades (non bore through - only one I've seen so far).

By far the best felling clubs I've hit.
