Purchase: This is not your ordinary buy a club kind of thing as I imported 10 of these in order to sell 9, get one free, and make a little money which I did and it's the best decision I've made in my golf life.
Pros: This club is amazing. It all begins with the double forged Titanium face. The ball comes screaming off the face with a sound that let's you know it is a high quality club. It's a metallic sound to be sure, just not a cheap sounding metallic sound. Solid and controlling is what I feel from the club when I hit it. I also like the fact that I outdrive my buds by 30-50 yards with their Taylormades, McGregors and various other "Got to have them" clubs.
When I do get my swing in the pocket, the ball flys for about 150 yards and then climbs as if it's been hit again and lands at about 260-270 then rolls forever and I've got NO technique. I'm just a grip it and rip it in my own style kinda guy.
Cons: The flex description is a little vague. I play a 9º Strong-2 flex and it isn't a lot stiffer than the Firm. It also needs a low and slow take-away to prevent a slice that I don't always accomplish. The club is 47.25" and requires a much flatter swing than I'm used to making.
The cost is a little high for the general public at $800 retail.
Quality: This club is simply gorgeous. It was two weeks before I took it to the range because I didn't want it to get scuffed.
The head is divinely shaped, is gloss black at the end of a black shaft w/a black grip.
Seamless construction.
It just exudes power, style and confidence.
Review Summary: This is a finely tuned precision driving machine. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get a little more distance.
