Purchase: I purchased this driver for $170.00 on eBay. It was a barely used model (hit 10 times on the driving range). I had read about the long-drive contest held in 2002 where 30 or so participants used the Alpha Reaction V.2. I became interested in obtaining the club and found several for sale on eBay. I currently have a Ping TiSI, Ping TiSI Tec, and Taylor Made XR-03.
Pros: This driver is long and accurate and legal. My first full round of using this driver was fantastic. My last three drives of the day at 16, 17 and 18 were the longest that I have ever hit. My bad hits/swings ended up being pretty decent too.
Cons: They are hard to find. I want to obtain a second club with a different loft but they are not easily found for the price that I want to pay. In addition, Alpha Reaction is making another clubhead which will probably replace the V.2. To me the V.2 is a classic, and I plan to add another one to my stable at the right time.
Quality: The clubhead is incredibly cool looking. The face is highly polished black. My configuration is as follows: 7.5 degree loft, 400 cc head (also comes in a 330 cc head), Aldila One stiff shaft (65g.) low launch, regular grip. Eventhough I would have prefered a higher loft and a higher launch, I could not pass up this bargain on eBay. In any event, the results have been outstanding for me. Review Summary: When your playing partners want your club you know that you have a keeper. If you want to hit it very long and very straight then get this club.

Purchase: I purchased this driver, $325.00 (and worth every cent), because I was having trouble being consistant. Either my drives took flight or killed worms. Some went right, some left. After trying all the "high end" drivers, a guy at the driving range let me try his and, like magic, I drove straighter and farther, much mor consistantly, almost immediately.
Pros: The club seems to make corrections for my miss hits and the price is right.
Cons: I haven't found anything I do not like about the club, except since I've been recommending it, some people have had a little trouble finding it, near them.
Quality: The club both feels and looks great. Sleek and mean. It has a Titanium Forged Active Beta Face insert with maximum COR allowed. The face is a highly polished black face, which allows you to see your impact point, each time, but is erasable. Comes in lofts from 6-12 degrees. The head is offered with several, excellent shafts, I have the Alpha Platinum with a 3.3 torque, 45" length. Review Summary: This is the best club I've ever hit. I haven't let someone try it that either bought one or regreted that they just overpaid for another club. A Great Club!
