On 2003-07-02, Bob rated this Knight Beta TI 390cc Overdrive a 5...(1676)

Purchase: I went to BJ's and decided to look in the sporting goods section for golf. There were some interesting looking drivers with very large heads. i took one home for $30, and tried it against an old Mark IV Delta 1. At half - swing, it hit twice as far.
Pros: it is very easy to aim because of large head, it is lightweight, and powerful. it is also very hard to mis-hit a ball, and it's easier to hit without slice. IT's also forgiving, and easy to look at.
Cons: The large head doesn't travel through the air well, so it is harder to swing as hard as with smaller headed clubs.
Quality: Made of Beta Titanium, Technalite 350 TIP shaft, 390cc. After hitting 150+ balls, there wasn't so much as a scratch on the front. Still looked exactly the same as when newley bought.

Review Summary: this is a great, hard hitting inexpensive driver, that has great aim and balance.
