Details: Head is Red, 460R, w/ 9-degree loft with The clubhead has smooth face (no grooves) and is bright red. The shaft is Graman Khoas, longer than standard driver (47), stiff-flex. Grip is red/black with Krank logo. The 3 and 5 wood also have longer shafts.

Purchase: Purchased club from e-bay in spring, it included a 3 and a 5 wood for $249 + $20 shipping.
Pros: Vendor asked a lot of questions to try and fit clubs to my style and ability. Club is fairly light. With the longer shaft I was able to get more distance, about 275 avg. Shaft looks good, club sounds good when hit square.
Cons: The longer shaft took some getting used to. Head is bright red and gets a lot of comments.
Quality: Grip is extremely cheap - needed replacing right away. The ferule was not sized right for the head, and separated from head after 1st visit to range. Used club for 1 season, at the end of this season the club face cracked while hitting a drive. Warranty was good for 90 days.

Review Summary: You get what you pay for. Have had no response from Krank to emails I sent. Tried Ping Rapture after this broke, got similar distance.

Purchase: I bought this club along with a 3 wood and a 4 hybrid directly from krank golf for $238!! It was the special they were having so I got all three. I decided it was time to get a new driver. I currently own two drivers; a titleist dci driver, and a orlimar trimetal. My average drives are around 280 yards. Not bad with outdated technology and beat up clubs. I have played and hit many drivers that are $200- $500 a driver, and the extra 10 - 20 yards i gained for $500 seemed not worth it. I used my uncles taylormade r7 all summer for example... maybe the hottest driver in the market. sure i gained 10 - 20 yards on good drives, but i ended up being less accurate and that damn club was messing up my iron shots. he was going to sell it to me for $150, i said no. I heard about krank golf about 3 months ago and did some research. However, i was skeptical because their are such few reviews out there on this driver. I was going to get one off ebay but i figured to get the full potential out of this driver i should get one fitted to my game/swing.
Pros: The golf clubs were absolutely beautiful when i got them opened up... by far the best looking driver i have ever seen. At the driving range i started off with the 3 wood because i was too nervous to hit the driver. I was hitting around 280 with the 3 wood, about the same as my old drivers with more height. i was impressed. Lets just say with the driver i only hit 4 balls until some guy came up laughing and told me 'you probably shouldnt hit that thing here.' The balls were just sailing over the net. i could only guess they were going 350 yards! amazing! Now for the next test, on the course! After 18 holes, I can say my average drive for the day was around 330 - 340 yards, with about 370 being the maximum!!! Not even joking. I hit it all the way to the 150 marker on a 535 yard par 5, granted a 3-5 mph tail wind.Plain and simple, this golf club/shaft combo is a whole level or two above such drivers as the r7 by taylormade. (sorry taylormade fans). Not only was I averaging 40 - 50 yards further, but i was hitting it straight, no hooks or slices. The ball simply flys off the face and just keeps going, perfect trajectory. Christmas day i took this club out back at my grandmas house to hit balls in her field with my dad, brother, and uncles. They compared the balls i hit to 'happy gilmore shots', or simply said they have never seen anybody come close to hitting the ball that far.
Cons: Getting used to the longer, stiffer shaft and bigger clubhead. As is a change from any driver to another. This club also takes some fun out of the game. I mean, you nearly driver every green, or your left with a mid iron shot on par 5s... it takes the longer irons out of the picture almost totally!
Quality: The quality is superb... no 'gimmicks' or other bs stuff glued on the driver, just a solid piece of beautiful beta titanium.

Review Summary: no review does this club justice, if you have thought of getting this club before and wernt sure, go get it. This club is like adding nuclear arsenal to a countrys military. And 238$ for three clubs is a steal, im not gonna lie! A tip though, i called the company and talked to a guy who asked alot of questions about my game, swing speed, average shots, etc.. He is a long distance golfer himself, very knowledgable. It is imperative to get a club/shaft combo suited for your game. For example, my dad and uncles hit this club and since they had slower swing speeds and varying heights, they had a hard time with the long shaft and extra stiff shaft. They couldnt get it around and tended to push the ball. So get a setup suited for your swing!!

Purchase: I purchased this club from ebay for $199 and it came with a free 3 wood. I have since purchased all of the fairway woods 5, 7 and 9. I have also purchased these clubs for my dad my two sons 11,13 and two of my brother in laws. They all love them as do I.
Pros: I love these clubs. They are well worth the price they charge and then some. I have drives of 300yds in the middle of the fairway everytime I play, not on every hole but more often than not. When I play with new people they usually say something smart about the red clubhead knowing its not a brandname club, but after I consisantly outdrive them on the first few holes they start to take the club serious and start inquiring about the club and if they can try it. If they are not hackers I always let them try it.
Cons: I replaced the grips.
Quality: I have had nothing but good luck with these clubs and this company. I had a problem with one driver and had to send it back. They fixed it free of charge and sent me a free hat for my trouble. Try that from a name brand company.

Review Summary: Before these clubs I was a bogey golfer on a good day. Now I am a 12 handicap and getting better. Now If I could only improve my putting. I will be a single digit handicapper before I'm 46!!!

Details: 460 CC head, Harrison Reg Flex Shaft designed for Krank Golf.

Purchase: I found the drivers on Ebay, but purchased mine direct from Krank golf, and paid $199 plus $20 shipping, and received a free 3 wood.
Pros: It looks good, bright red color with a silver and red Harrison shaft, with matching Red Hot Chili pepper head cover. The free fairway, or hybrid wood is also a nice bonus.
Cons: This club is not for the average golfer. The slick face makes it easier for me to slice, and they custom make the driver from a set of questions you answer. I did this using the internet, and ended up with a 9 degree faced driver, with a regular flex shaft. If I had realized that was a possibility, I would have requested a 10.5 degree face, which is an ordering option. The free 3 wood I received, had been assembled in an unprofessional manner as it had been sand prepped above the collar. The sand marks are deep, and not light sanding. Krank golf told me it was the first club to leave their shop in that condition, however they wanted me to pay the shipping back to them to get it repaired. I opted not to do that for principle reasons. I believed I should have received a professionally assembled club when I paid the $20 shipping fee.
Quality: The driver looks great, a bright red and chrome color, with a matching silver and red shaft, and looks professional. I have several other drivers, and it matches the looks of any driver made. However the quality of the free club that came with the driver looks like it was a first effort by a student club builder.

Review Summary: This driver is not for the average golfer. It will not produce longer drives as advertised. There is no option to get a refund even for poor quality. They support the longer drives with a swing called 'Quiet Swing'. You can read about it on their web site, or on Ebay. I did not buy a driver and a new swing. I bought a driver to fit my natural swing. I am a slicer, but can control it with an offset driver. I inquired prior to purchase, and was advised the club was a match for my swing style, well live and learn.
