On 2004-08-27, mr. divots rated this Lamkin Crossline Round Full Cord Grips a 5...(4183)

Purchase: I had just purchased a set of Mizuno MP-33 irons off E-bay used, and wanted them re-gripped before I played them. Had it done at Golf Galaxy in Roseville, MN. $6.49 a grip installed. Had a $10.00 off coupon on top of that!
Pros: These grips put you in full control of your club. Tacky rubber compound provides great grip, along with the added slip protection of full cording. The cording is not so rough that your non-gloved hand takes a beating. I believe Lamkin calls these grips Crossline "Soft-Cord" grips. They work!
Cons: A little more cash for the cord vs. non-cord in the Crosslines, but I think it will be worth it! (About $4.65 vs. $6.49 at Golf Galaxy, installed price)
Quality: Great cord technology that increases grip without taking a toll on your hands. Allows you to take a lighter grip on the club enabling a fuller release.

Review Summary: I had been playing Pings with the I3 grips with the "Reminder" along the back. I am glad to be rid of "Reminders." I am currently an 8-9 handicap and would recommend only high handicappers use a "Reminder" grip. They make you place your hands on the reminders rather than taking the proper grip! Very pleased with the Crosslines!
