Purchase: $90 used
Pros: Teaches you proper impact with a late release.
Cons: It is an unecessary tool. Teaches nothing about the swing that you couldn't learn without it. It actually encourages a JERKY, Handsy backswing motion
Quality: Good

Review Summary: Surprisingly useless.

Purchase: Purchased unit at Sports Authority, had seen the advertisements on Golf Channel and have several of Leadbetter's books, which I thought were excellent. Paid $129.
Pros: Improved my swing within a week. I improved the tempo of my swing and now bring my wrists through much more consistantly. The sound feedback of the magnets releasing lets you know immediately if you are releasing at the proper point. Practice time is about 10 minutes 3 to 4 times a week. Added advantage of getting your grip right.
Cons: Nothing to complain about just wish they could have designed it a little shorter so it could be used inside standard height ceilings. I have to go outside or in garage.
Quality: Construction seems excellent.

Review Summary: Would recommend the product for anyone who has not yet "grooved" their swing or has swing timing problems. I found I hit the ball straighter and farther within days and that was before I received the instructional DVD in the mail.

Purchase: i bought the david leadbetter swing setter from www.onlinegolf.co.uk and paid £79.99 plus the £4.99 next day delivery and i bought it next day so i could improve instatanly and that is exactly what has happened.
Pros: i like the fact you get instant feedback on your swings, i.e. grip, backswing and the release plus it does really improve your tempo.
Cons: the only thing i dont like is that it only comes in medium and large grip size. its fine if you do have your grip size like one of those but when mine is only small its a bit of a stretch on my fingers but its still alright.
Quality: the construction is excellent but it you do catch a coin or stone at the bottom of your swing it marks the bottom ball but its still in good condition and does not affect the purformance.

Review Summary: if you are really wanting to improve at golf then this is a fantastic purchase and there will be no way that you will want to send it back.
