Details: blue, magnetic tempo balls. Form molded grip, plane pointer, ez-see club face.
Purchase: I bought the Swingsetter in fall 2005, and I don't remember how much I paid. Probably around $170-180 CDN. I bought it at Nevada Bob's. I would have bought it directly from the infomercial I saw probably about 100 times, but shipping really gets pricey when you live in Canada. Pros: Let me just describe how important it is to give the swingsetter time before you send it back and get your refund. At first, it feels like you have to break your wrists with all the effort you have to put in just to get the balls to snap. But eventually, after working with it for a while, and watching the video that comes with it, you can figure out how to properly hinge your wrists. Once you learn how to do that properly, it makes the rest of the swing a whole lot easier. Not to mention a lot more powerful. The tempo balls are great, and really do bring consistency. This product has really helped my game, I've gone from an 8 handicap to a 1 since using it. Oh and the improvement happened over winter, while not playing a round for 5 months. If you want that improvement though, you really got to be dedicated. Do all the drills that come with the video. One last thing I love about it. Its made by David Leadbetter. Cons: Well, its not that I don't like the following accessories, but I don't know exactly how important they are. The ez-see club face is kind of useless, I actually took it off my swingsetter so I could put the swingsetter in my bag. The plane pointer is useful every now and then, but after a few weeks of using the swing setter, you kind of forget about it, atleast by the time you've finally mastered the initial wrist hinge. I also think the top tempo-ball magnet wears down a bit over time. Quality: It's a well-made training aid. I've hit my fair share of household furniture by accident with it, and nothing has fallen apart. The only concern is the wear down of the tempo balls over time. But in all fairness, after using it for close to a year, everyday, for about a half hour, that's pretty good condition. Review Summary: I just want to really make this known. Give the swingsetter time. It takes a while to get that effortless swing to come. The first couple weeks for me were terrible, trying to hinge my wrist all the way, it really didn't feel natural. But if you give it time, you'll get good. Really good. Effortless power will be yours. It's worked for me. I've had my fair share of drives in excess of 340 yards. Oh yeah, and I'm only 5'6, 125 pounds.

Purchase: I saw it advertised on the golf channel, paid 120 Euro at a JJB shop in Ireland. Pros: From the first swing I had found my swing faults. I found my wrist cock was poor and my release was occurring about a foot after striking the ball...no power. Easy to see where you're going wrong...you feel it and hear it. Cons: will only have it a week this coming Friday so nothing bad to report so far. Quality: very well constructed, unless you hit something with it at full throttle, it should last a long time. Review Summary: In three days this product has pinpointed my swing faults, I now have increased swingspeed as I'm practicing on the max 5 setting for downswing. I Used it for three days, three to four sessions a day only swinging a max of 10 swings per session. I had my best round in a long time on the fourth day in wind and rain. Now I have only two swing thoughts instead of half a dozen..all I think about is "click" "click" and it's away, now with more of a draw instead of a fade or slice. I've more power throughout the bag and more confidence with a clear mind. I still had a few mishits on the day (very few) but after only three days use I was delighted at my improved ballstriking and power I had developed. Purchase: I purchased this over the phone for $130.00 after seeing the infomercial a few times. What convinced me to buy this product was the solid review it got from so many PGA pros that were taught by Mr. Leadbetter. Looking back, I don't know whether it was him they were endorsing, or his product. Pros: It comes with a money back guarantee. Cons: It doesn't do a single thing for you. Not one single thing. You have to jerk the thing sharply with every movement just to get it to work, and the training exercises are extremely hard on the wrists. I actually had to stop using it due to the pains I developed in my hands and wrists, and I'm a 29 year old guy without a single health problem. This thing truly is a black eye for the game, and I'm hoping it's removed from the market soon. Quality: The quality seems good, but I'm not keeping it long enough to gain any knowledge on its durability. Review Summary: This thing is a total piece of trash. There are a few more colorful words I'd like to use, but it wouldn't be appropriate. Can business be so bad for this so-called legendary teacher that he's forced to associate his name with this thing? It will not help you in any way, and it doesn't do a single thing it's inventor claimed it would. Stay as far away from this piece of junk as you can.
