Purchase: My father gave this to me as a present from our local pro shop in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Don't remember the price but it was about R100 (+- £10)
Pros: The video is about a lesson that David Leadbetter gives to an amateur. It shows you how to build your swing using the proper fundamentals which is basically using the body to hit the ball rather than the hands and arms alone. It had such a dramatic effect on my ball striking that I went from a 6 handicap down to scratch.
Cons: Nothing really, but you should note that it is not a quick fix, you must follow the drills he sets out and then suddenly after quite a while of practising, it starts to unlock and then you know that this is the reason that Ernie Els, Nick Price and countless others all use David. You want to run and tell everyone about it! Sadly, not everyone is dedicated enough to practise the drills which is the key to all of it.
Quality: normal video so probably won't last forever, might be better if in DVD form.

Review Summary: I have seen quite a few products that are out there but this is without doubt all you will ever need. Once you get this, you realise that you don't need a new set of irons or a new driver, you just need to practise the drills and the swing and the scoring will come. After a practise session you will note a white mark developing on the middle of you club faces. This is because you are consistently hitting the same spot each time which is only possible when you start using the big muscles to hit the ball rather than the hands and arms alone which is a typical amateur fault. This video is probably the best thing since cavity back clubs (which with the techniques in this video, you wont need and will prefer to use blades)....honest! I like to have another look at it every 3 months to make sure the old habits are not sneaking back.
