On 2007-11-10, Uncle Milt rated this MacGregor M42 Eye-O-Matic V-Foil a 5...(7951)

Details: 9 Degree loft, stiff flex factory shaft

Purchase: Bought in October 2007 from Rockbottomgolf and paid $59 USD.(factory sealed) Bought it to be a spare driver and it actually replaced my King Cobra.
Pros: I'm not sure why but this driver allows me to consistantly keep the ball in play. Distance has never been a problem for me since I can hit the ball 270 to 290. If you want to hit more fairways and not feel like your swinging a shoe box on the end of your shaft then you'll love this driver. Since I tend to hit a hook I like the fact that the face is not offset since those drivers tend to amplify mishits.
Cons: It's a bit loud but it's only noticeable when I'm in a confined space at a driving range. On the course it's not an issue.
Quality: Solid...

Review Summary: For what this driving currently sells for it's a steal! It favors my swing and it may also work for you. For under a $100, brand new, why not give it a whirl.
