On 2007-06-25, Peter of NYC rated this MacGregor NVG2 Tour a 5...(7817) Review Summary: I have been looking for the right driver to replace a Steelhead III that I have used for 4 years or so. I have been fitted, and all the big names (Taylormade Quad, the Big Bertha's, Titleist, Sasquach square, etc, etc, etc) have all only added a few yards on a simulator. At GolfSmith, I was trying various top name clubs, and they were all landing at 240-250, which is where my Steelhead was. I saw the NVG2 Tour, and gave it a swing - BAM. 265 in the air. Again, 263. With a draw. The simulated roll had me in the high 280's. Bought it, brought it to the course the next day (having NEVER hit it at the range), and BAM - 280 easy off the first tee. I had several 300+ drives that first day, and another the next, and though I am not consistantly drawing the ball, I am keeping it to 10 yards from center (fade or draw). I love this club...
