Details: 3-PW, standard steel shafts

Purchase: I bought these on EBay in summer of 2004, when the retail everywhere was $599, and I got them for $395! I had tried these against the Callaway Big Bertha, and though I didn't see much difference, you can never find the Callaways discounted, plus I liked the feel of forged.
Pros: I love the feel, but the primary reason was the large, rounded sole which makes them almost impossible to chunk or dig in. They might be almost a club shorter than my 2002 King Cobras, (never checked the lofts) but I am hitting irons so much better.
Cons: Occasionally, you want a sharper club edge to pick a ball out of a nasty lie, but it's a minor concern.
Quality: Well-made and still holding up after 2 years of regular play.

Review Summary: I'm a better player than I was 2 years ago, and even though my handicap is similar, my scores are more consistent, and I have set PBs each of the last 2 years. Maybe this is the year I break 80!
