Purchase: I bought a set of MacGregor MX irons , with graphite shafts, from my clup pro shop on the advice of the club pro. I paid in the region of £350 punts at the time.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: On my first round with the new MacGregor MX irons, the head of the 7 iron broke off. I had this club replaced by the pro shop. Over the next 3 weeks 2 further heads snapped off right at the base of the club. I contacted MacGregor in Europe and the replaced the MX irons with MacGregor response clubs. Within a month, the head of the 8 iron snapped off, I contacted MacGregor and was told that the problem was my swing and not their clubs. I gave the clubs to my father to use and, since that time, 2 more heads have snapped off. I have been using a set of graphite shafted Mizuno Faldo clubs since and never had a club break.
Quality: Each of the 6 clubs, that broke, snapped off where the shaft meets the head. These clubs look great but the construction quality is rubbish.

Review Summary: I would never buy a MacGregor clubs again, their after sales service is rubbish. It took me almost a year to get the origional set replaced and they refused to replace the second one. Big thumbs down for MacGregor...!!!
