Purchase: I bought this set of irons off eBay a couple of weeks ago after reading up on them on various golf review sites.They were rated a 9 to 9.5, and I was really pleased when I received them. I paid $276 for them, and feel it was money well spent!
Pros: These are truly great looking golf clubs.They have the Pro-Pel Lite stiff shaft,and MacGreger Tour Velvet grips. The weighting is superior,and they just feel right when you swing them.I was playing with TaylorMade SuperSteel Burners,and the differance is almost like night and day.This club feels great when well struck,like butter,and is quite forgiving on miss-hits.Maybe it's because this is the first set of forged irons I've owned, but I really like these clubs and will never go back to cast clubs again.I droped 6 strokes off my score the first time I played them right out of the box
Cons: On some shots the glare from the sun on the face of the club made it hard to see the ball good.
Quality: These are well made clubs from club head to the end of the grips.I was a little worried because I had read that a couple of people had broke these shafts while playing.Well all I can say is these are not picks or shovels.I hit the ball fat a couple of times and they performed great for a fat hit.I'm not a scratch glofer,(I WISH)But these people must have had a really bad swing to break the shafts. Again the quality of these clubs are truly a great deal for the money paid!
