Purchase: I had played forged irons most of my life. Decided to go with Ping I2 irons when I turned 50. Big mistake. Went shopping for a forged iron and discovered the MacGregor V foil irons at demo days. Shopped around for price and would up buying from an ebay seller. Emailed my specs and preferences and received the irons in less than 2 weeks;monogramed,winn grips,5.5 flighted rifle shafts installed and set to the correct loft and lie angle; $599 plus shipping charges! Excellent value for the money.
Pros: I love everything about these irons. Very easy to get the ball airborne. The look at address adds confidence and the feel is amazing. I have had a lot of compliments on the look of my irons. Esthetically these are better looking than the Hogan Apex which is a beautifull golf club as well.
Cons: Have no complaints so far.
Quality: These golf clubs are forged. CM stands for Cavity/Muscle. This is a combo set. The long irons (3-6) are cavity back. The short irons (7-SW) are muscle back.

Review Summary: I would recommend these irons to any low to mid handicapper. The dollar value is great when compared to Cleveland, Callaway, and many other equipment manufacturers. I haven't seen a more beautifull or better performing set of irons than the MacGregor V foil.
