Purchase: I received 2 dozen as a gift.
Pros: The first time I played these balls, I thought they would be like any other ball out there. I was wrong from the first tee. Excellent ball flight, durability, and control. This is a true point and shoot ball. Accurate off the tee, and spot on with irons. Good spin off the wedges, and great feel off the putter. It gets the job done better than any other of the other tour level balls I have played.
Cons: There is nothing I don't like about the ball.
Quality: Excellent durability with minimal, if any, scratches or cuts from wedges.

Review Summary: Excellent ball for the price. I just wish they were still in production.

Purchase: I found one in the woods and decided to play it. I bought a dozen used from my clubfitter friend for $3.00 a dozen.
Pros: What I like about the ball is the distance and consistency I get off the tee. Also the feel around the greens is exceptional. (I chipped in on the par 5.) Also it performs great with the rhythm of my swing. I posted one of my lowest scores ever the first time I played 18holes with this ball. I was able to hit my 3iron over 200yds, something I'm usually not able to do. The trajectory of the ball is very true.
Cons: Nothing too dislike. I'll play no other golf ball from now on. I'd advise any true golfer to try this ball.
Quality: It seems to be quality constructed. The writing and arrows on the side helps to line putts up pretty straight.

Review Summary: Can't wait to play another round with this ball. I usually get good play from Maxfli balls in general, but this one seems to outperform all the other ones that I have tried in the past.

Purchase: Paid £8 (approx. $16) for a sleeve of 3 from the local pro shop here in Cyprus.
Pros: Can't really comment on the ball's reaction of the driver or woods, as I have been practising my iron play only with these balls. Trajectory is great - high and strong. Ball draws easily enough and gets a bit of roll. Overall length is very good The reason I tried the Black max though wasn't for the distance side - control and reaction on the greens was what I was after and I can only say WOW..... Ball checks up on the greens with ease, which is a big plus, although for the first few holes I was leaving myself short of the hole. Once I adjusted for the extra spin though I was right up there. On the greens the Black Max puts very well. Holds the line nicely and judging length is not a problem
Cons: Nothing negative about this ball, apart from the price we pay here in Cyprus. Right after I finished my round though I went online and ordered 4 dozen from an online retailer for £27 a dozen (approx. $50). That's how much I liked it...
Quality: First class, although the colour does fade a bit quick. Ball lasted the 18 holes with no damage. I think they should see 3+ rounds before being consigned to the shag bag

Review Summary: I have taken everything else out of my bag (Titleist, Nike) to make way for the Black Max, which I forsee will play a big part in the coming season for me Using irons only I came in with an 81 for a net 60 (SSS 70) so no complaints.

Purchase: Found one ball in the woods, and played with it.
Pros: This has to be my lucky ball (I'm knocking on wood as I write). I found just one of these babies, and it is perfect for my game. It flies FAR! I can drive this bad boy at least 300 yards 6 out of the 10 times I hit it. It gives a ton of spin on low wedge shots, something I'll have to get use to. I found this ball 3 rounds ago, and I'm still playing it. It's still going as far as it was when I found it. Made my school golf team playing this thing.
Cons: nothing, except price, but that seems to be the problem with anything that is goof nowadays...
Quality: I hit a tree with it, and a scuff was on it. I went to the ball washer and Vola!, scuff was gone. Great duribility

Review Summary: If you've got money to burn, you can either give it to me, or buy a few boxes of these things.

Purchase: I compared golf ball review on this sight as well as others. I purchased 5 boxes over the internet for $37 a box of 12.
Pros: I played Laddie Precepts before these balls. I liked the Laddie's overall performance over the Titliest quality balls I tried. The spin on the more expensive balls was just to much. The Maxfli Black Max's spin rate is perfect for my game. These balls do not spin off the green however you can get them to spin. The Black Max is excellent around the green. Chiping is true while a pop and stop is right there for you to choose. Length is right up there with the big boys. Wind is not an issue. Great all around ball for those who recognize the ball that best fits their game.
Cons: The Black Max holds up well however they do scuff a bit. The scuffing or discoloration does not seem to effect the balls performance to much.
Quality: Maxfli construction and quality through out. This ball could easily be played by tour players.

Review Summary: The Maxfli Black Max is a great ball for those who know ball performance. The cost is not out of reach for the performance you get. This ball plays as good as any of the top four.

Purchase: 40 dollars for a dozen. Came as a gift from a friend for doing a favor for them.
Pros: It's a good all around ball, but I can't say it's right for my game.
Cons: I play Callaway HX HOT balls, and this doesn't go as far for me, and it doesn't feel as soft to me.
Quality: Excellent

Review Summary: I really think that this particular model of golfball is for someone who swings a little bit harder than I do. I suspect it is for the player who swings over 100 mph with the driver. That's not me, except once in a blue moon when I get a lucky one. That said, I think it probably would be an excellent ball for a stronger swinger, and the quality is very good. I can't give it a low score simply because I don't swing hard enough to take advantage of it's qualities, so I'll rank it a four.

Purchase: I visited Academy Sports to purchase some tees and a glove when I noticed the Black Max box of balls. Price was $38 for the dozen which beats the PRO-V by about $8.
Pros: Good all around feel. Great distance and spin.
Cons: n/a
Quality: High quality......same ball after 9 was in great condition

Review Summary: I used to hit Maxfli years ago but switched to Titleist. I decided to try the Black Max and loved it. I have been hitting the PRO-V for sometime but really liked the Black Max when I played with it.
