On 2003-09-14, Robby Coats rated this Maxfli Noodle Spin Balls a 5...(2304)

Purchase: I tend to hit the ball with a little too much force onto the green, so I needed something with a little more spin. I was walking up and down the golf isle at wal-mart looking for some decent balls, and noticed the noodle spin balls. What honestly attracted me was theit witty advertising like "longer than an IRS audit, softer than a bahama breeze". So I purchased them and it cost me about $20.00 with tax.
Pros: These balls have an excelent soft feel, and fly nice and far off the tee. The cover is very durable - I've used the same ball for more than one round, and performance is still fine. Compaired to the original Noodle ball, the Noodle Spin does spin more. The original will just roll across the green like theres no tomorrow, but this one does stop quite a bit earlier.
Cons: My only dislike is that, while the ball does spin, it dosen't spin quite enough for my liking. I need a ball that really just stops on the green. The Noodle ball too long for me only by about 7-10 feet, but I guess I cant get much better.
Quality: The ball itself is very strong, like I said, I use them more than one round (if i dont lose them). All aroung great quality, very soft feel which I like very much.

Review Summary: This is definately a great ball. If you need a ball that'll really put on the brakes, this is it (my hopes for more is just dreaming). My first choice when I go play as of now. I've compaired them to wilson, ti tech, ti lo, titalis, loco, and lots of really really expensive brands... But I'll use my noodle and stick with the Noodle.
