Purchase: I bought my first McHenry driver at my country club pro shop which was a bargin at 100.00. It was a demo and I took it to the first tee and hit it about 240 yards, I am at that time 77. The 2nd hole was into the wind and I hit it low about 220. That sold me on it right then. I love the sound when the head makes contact with the ball because it has a different sound than other drivers when you make contact. I am now 80 years old and have the new Tour Pure 9.5 degree with 100 flex shaft and I am still at this age hitting the new one around the 220 to 240. I was able to use the old driver as a 2nd shot off the fairway when needed and do very good, however with the 360 cc I can't do that so I carry the old one in my bag for that purpose when I have about a 200 yard 2nd shot to the green. I just bought the new Metal fairway 3 and its beautiful with the black head and shaft. It will take some time to adjust to it as I could hook off the tee my old 3 wood but so far haven't been able to adjust to this one. I can only recommend to any aged player give the club a try and see what you can do.
