On 2003-05-27, Jerry rated this Merit Zero bounce a 5...(1412)

Purchase: Paid 80.00. Bought directly from the manufacturer. Looking for a gap wedge that played like a nine iron.
Pros: Zero bounce configuration makes this club very versatile. Open the blade and it plays like a sand iron. From tight lies in the fairway the zero bounce give exceptional spin and you have the confidence to swing this club because you aren't afraid to skull one. Soft carbon steel gives feel and rusts up for extra bite.
Cons: Shipping and customs costs to get the club to Canada nearly ended the deal. Would like to be able to get different grip styles without having to pay a lot more.
Quality: Soft carbon steel. Oil can finish lets the club rust over and provide extra spin

Review Summary: Excellent buy. I will replace my 56 degree Cleveland with a no bounce 56 degree Merit when the time comes
