Purchase: I bought it on sale for $195 (original price was $350). I was looking for a nice looking and powerful club to replace my beginners driver. I read an article from the Golf Digest and it gave it the highest rating - so I wanted it bad!
Pros: From the first hit on, IT WILL IMPRESS YOU and BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE in hitting! Easily 30-40 yards longer than any ordinary clubs out there. This compared to the TaylorMade r7 Quad, but I still hit (and like) the MP001 straighter and a little further (of course the r7 can be adjusted - which to me is cheating). BUT, cheaper and stronger - and OVERALL the better club!
Cons: If you pick the right grip and flex on your shaft - you won't find anything wrong with this club. The fault is in your swing - hit it even close to the face and you will hit far and straight. And at 460CC, you shouldn't miss.
Quality: Formidable. Flexes at the right time before impact for maximum distance. Head cover and make-up is exceptional! Review Summary: For Drivers / Fairway Woods - I've demo'd all the best (TaylorMade, Cleveland, Callaways, Nike, etc... - and even the Super Hammer advertised on the golf channel). YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER CLUB!

Purchase: I bouught this club from golfdiscount.com for $350. When i first tryed the club at a local proshop, i thought it had a great feel and was long off the tee.
Pros: the club had a distinctly unique feel from several of my recent drivers due to the fact that it was forged. Long off the tee (240 average carry) compared to my preveios drive the cleveland launcher.
Cons: I didn't like the size of the head (400cc) of the shallow face, though it may be something that some players look for in a club.

Pros: I have the 9 degree with the stiff graffaloy blue shaft on it. It is very forgiving and I can hit it very long.I had a taylor made r580 and I am outdriving it with the mp-001.
Cons: nothing
