Purchase: After testing five drivers with different shafts and length. The best combination found for me is the Mizuno MP-001 with a 48" NV-65 stiff shaft that I extended with full cord grip.
Pros: This combination gave me 25 to 30 extra yard and I've never hit straighter in my life. But my swing did have to change to a flatter and SLOWER swing because of the 48" length, this gave me a nice draw and NO slice unless I try. This is not the longest hitting driver I have. My older Callaway VFT Hawkeye with a 48"shaft is bit longer, but I can work the ball easier with the Mizuno MP-001, and his is better then hitting 10 yds longer.
Cons: At times knowingly or not I get carried away and IÕll try to kill the ball. When this happens I usually hook the ball hard. But that's my falt. Learning to swing easy is a must.
Quality: AAA+++

Review Summary: This combination is not for everyone, you must learn at least one consistent swing. I use two swings, First with the ball teed just above center of the face with a straight through swing, sends the ball down the fairway with a nice medium hight. Second with the ball teed high with an upward swing, sends the ball higher to catch any wind from behind. This combination work well using Pro-vÕs or NXT balls.
