Purchase: I bought them at a second hand golf shop for just under $360.00. After playing for about 3 years, I found that I needed a new set. Previously I was using my fathers' old Ping Eye irons. Pros: Every now and then I will literally get 15 more yards from my old irons with about the same swing speed.(130 mph) Perhaps these are just as good of irons as you can get. I have tried out Callaway Big Bertha irons(not intending on spending a grand on them), also I have tried out the new Ping I3 irons. Still I found that the Comp EZs were as good, if not better for much less. Cons: The forged club somehow seems to get damaged more easily. Otherwise no real negatives. Quality: Very good clubs. You can almost feel your shot as you would in a titanium driver. Great standard shafts. Review Summary: Excellent clubs. Don't overlook them if you are suggesting buying used or older clubs. With these clubs, my handicap has lowered considerably. 27 to a 21 in about 4 months.

Purchase: A golfing friend of mine had a set of the Comp EZ's. He let me hit them a number of times. I noticed a tremendous distance (10 to 15 yards)gain on each iron except for the pitching wedge.Ilooked all over the golf shops and the internet. I finally found them at an internet site in Boston for $399, plus they though in a 2 iron. Pros: I literally gained 10 to 15 yards per club (execept for the pitching wedge). I assume this is due to the forged technology of this club. Also, when you look down the shaft, you see a nice thin head. Even though it is somewhat perimeter weighted, it has a much thinner appearance than the most of the cast perimeter weighted clubs. It also has a fairly large sweet spot and when you hit that spot, you can feel that ball take off. I have actually gone back to using my 3 and four iron instead of fair way woods. I get more distance with the irons than the woods. I also use the 2 iron for teeing off on short, tight par fours. Cons: The only negative to the club is when you mishit the ball all together. The forging lets you feel that also. You definitely know you missed it. Quality: The club is well built and solid. I got the lite weight regular shaft. The grips that come with the irons are perfect for my hands. They have a great feeling that gives you confidence that there will be no slipping. Mizuno definitely make a quality club. Review Summary: I'm excited about these irons. I'm hitting the ball further than before and I'm hitting more greens. It's great to use a 5 iron on a 170 yard par three over water. They have helped my lower a few strokes from my score and I have much greater amount of confidence when I hit the course.
I can't say enough good things about these clubs.
