Details: Demo 6 iron . Dynamic Gold S300 steel shaft, and factory grip.
Purchase: Paid $5 for the 6 iron, in like new condition. Pros: Excellent Mizuno forge feel and quality. This is a MP-37 BLADE with a good sized 'CUT MUSCLE cut-out in the center of the back of the head. Much bigger cut-out than in the MP-67, so you get a good bit more foregiveness with this design over the MP-33 blades Very easy to work the ball. Good distanc and a higher ball flight than the full blade Mp-33's Cons: More forgiving than the Mp-33's, but still not enough for most golfs. Not as foregiving as the older MP-30's, which are an excellent set of irons. Quality: Same top quality as all Mizuno forged irons. Review Summary: An excellent set of irons, especially for the GOOD iron player looking for just a bit more foregiveness than the MP-33 Blades. Still very workable, and the same feel and quality as the best Mizuno blades. Same thin top line. Some foregiveness, but not enough to be called a 'game improvement' set of irons, maybe hald way between the MP33 blades and the MP-30 half cavity back irons.

Purchase: Bought MP32's, 2 deg upright, standard loft and length with TF Rifle 6.0 frequency matched shafts, Lamkin Crossline grips off a seller on Ebay ($550 + $25- 3 day shipping). Could have gotten a better deal on ebay, but really wanted those irons. I had hit the demo 6 iron that I got from a local store and loved it. Also tried the Mizuno MP 30's, MP 33's and MP 37, Ben Hogen Apex FTX, Titeliest 690 CB, Cleveland TA2's etc.. Reviews on this website for Mizuno's were solid. Absolutely know why now. Pros: This is a beautiful looking set of grain flow forged irons, looks like blades, plays almost like cavity backs. But not really that forgiving for toe mishits. I am a mid to high handicap, but don't be fooled by that because I am somewhat wayward of the tee with my driver and I am not great with putting. But my iron play is solid. So I was ready to reward myself with this new set. I also loved the look and feel of this the most compared to the other ones. The only other brand that appealed to me was the Ben Hogan Apex FTX. Boy what a beauty! Feel is almost as good as these Mizuno's. But I thought that they would loose their looks after 20 rounds, whereas these MP32's although not fancy looking, have an understated thing about them and I liked that! Cleveland's have higher trajectory than I would like to see. MP 32's also have somewhat of a higher trajectory compared to the MP 33's and 37's, both of which are as far as can be from forgiving. I also found that the MP33's had a better feel than 32's and the 37's had the best feel, but were least forgiving. Playability with these MP 32's was great I have heard but not that good to test it out myself. Would have bought the MP30's but really wanted the blade like look and feel! Mind you - your Swing really needs to be on the plane to make sure you hit the sweetspot and experience the buttery feel that only Mizuno's have. I have played a round of golf since I bought them and I absolutely love them. They simply have the best feel!
Cons: Really not any dislikes, for the price, this is the best game improvement set you could buy on the market if you are a little more than a weekend golfer and really have some passion for this game. I heard that forged irons can get dinged up pretty easily and mishits off the toe seem to bite and chip off the chrome finish next to the grooves. I still need to get the right driver for my game, to see any improvement in scores, but thats no fault of these irons. Did not get the Mizuno cap with the set, shame the seller on ebay must have sold it separately. The only negative thing I can see as of now is the distance, my yardage, although I have not confirmed it, I may have lost a few yards with these irons. I am not sure if it is because these have a slightly higher trajectory and because the ball lands softly that I don't quite see the roll and so seems like I may have lost some distance. Although I really would like to see the ball land ever so softly - its a great feeling to see those butterfly landings as long as you don't come short of the green! Quality: There is no doubting the quality of these irons. Mizuno makes great clubs for all level of players. No wonder they are number one on the tour 8 years in a row. The feel is great, and so far the irons have held up very well (although its been less than a month).
Review Summary: Best set of Game improvement irons on the market! Reward yourself with one - very reasonable price to pay for a handsome set of irons! My swing guru who has owned Ping for 20 yrs is also switching to these, after he saw mine. Also may give you some inspiration to get to that range and hit some balls regularly and get to the course and shoot some good scores!!
