Details: stiff shaft
Purchase: In the summer from a pro shop. They were pretty much new so i payed around £330 for them. Pros: The way they look is outstanding. The most beautifull clubs ever.Lovely thin topeline looks fantastic at adress. Really gives you the feeling that you will nail it every time with lovely divots. The feel of them is very soft and solid. Probably some of the best feeling clubs ever. The ball flight is mid to high but just looks beautiful in the air when struck well also seems to go a bit further than my old irons. Also you hear you have do be so good to hit blades but they are not that hard. And they teach you how to swing so much better in such a short period of time. Extremly easy to shape the ball. Cons: Yes they do scratch quite easily. But if you treat them well it is really not as bad as some people make out. Quality: Brilliantly put together club perfectly weighted and balanced throughout the swing. The aesthetics are out of this world and just the anser to any one who wants a set of blades. Review Summary: Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purchase: I bought these new from a local golf shop and paid 620.00 for the 3-PW Pros: UNBELIEVEABLE. The iron hit so nicly for someone who has a fluid swing. There is definate feedback when you toe or shnk noe...which is good. The ball flight is high and the s300 shafts really provide a boaring trajectory. I am a 8.5 handicap and no problem controling the shots or distance. For anyone looking to improve their game through a reliable and workable balde....hit these before you buy. Cons: Not much. Since it is a soft forged blade...they do ding easily. But since i have no intention of parting with them any time soon, that's a pretty minor thing. Quality: Excellent. Mizuno really hit a home run with these irons. There is definatly a reason they are a perfered iron on the tour. Review Summary: If you're thinking about buying a blade...check them out. The nicest thing about plaing these is that you really want to improve you swing to have that sweet feeling every time. On 2004-07-13, Don Brooks rated this Mizuno MP 33 a 5...(3876)
Purchase: I have been playing the MP 14 for about five years. this clubs start to get worn, so I needed to either get them re-chromed or buy new clubs. for about a year I tried all make and models of clubs, but felt that Mizuno is the best club for me. I paid $650 for this set. Pros: After getting this clubs fit to my liking (4 degrees upright and 2 degrees stronger) I hit this clubs increabily well. My handicap has gone from a 18 to a 13. I can put the ball on the green with easy. Because I hit this clubs reasonably straight, I often will tee off with my 2 or 3 iron. Basically to have my second shot from between 180 and 130.
Also, I love the weight of these clubs. Even though they are a little lighter than my old 14's and I had to get use to slowing my hands downs, I love how this clubs feel through out the entire swing. Cons: I tad higher than I like, but that is ok. They do mark up easily. Quality: Review Summary: On 2003-03-22, Mizuno Mike rated this Mizuno MP 33 a 5...(1033)
Purchase: Decided to go back to a forged iron after a few years of playing cast-cavity backs.Played forged irons in college, but like everyone else, became caught up in the new and improved hype. Well 3 strokes to my handicap told me to get back to where I came from. Contacted my local golf shop,(Retail Golf Store) and purched what The shop and I felt were the best forged clubs on the market-paid about 700 dollars. Pros: The first thing you see is the absolute
square set-up. Shaft meets the hosel at best possible point, square. Thin top-line
smaller head, but still bigger than older forgings. Best feature of all is what I call bottom swing heavy, in transistion from the top of the swing to impact no extra force is needed, let the weight of the club swing ifself to contact. Overall looks is fantastic and the feel is second to none. Cons: Dislikes in these clubs will only come from non traditionalists. They ding easily due to the soft metal used, but that is a great look in my book, the look of a forged player. Sorry no dislikes here. Quality: For the golfer that is looking for a blade club, the mizuno mp33's are what any blade user wants, top notch in construction and quality. The lines flow together perfect and the craftsmanship of the head itself is beautiful, look no further for a better blade. Review Summary: Bottom line - Feel, Feedback, and due results from a good swing are what any blade iron should give you. With the mp33's you know at impact if you stripep it, or got stung, results are true to form. On 2002-10-14, Phil Carson rated this Mizuno MP 33 a 5...(671)
Purchase: Bought from local golf store / driving range paid £600 (approx $1000)
Demo'd against Mizuno pro 2 and mx 20 Titleist 762 Pros: Having previously played with Callaway x 14's and hated the bulky look and unpredictability distance wise I took a chance and demod these beauties. The pro in the shop said that they were an anachronism and me playing a lot of tennis he described them as a heavy old fashioned racket compared to the modern lightweight racket. I immediately knew where he was coming from - the so called old fashioned rackets give tremendous feel for the ball and allow shots to be made properly.
I took the chance and bought them 3 months ago had them properly fitted by a club maker and settled down to be criticised by all the better golfers I play with for playing gear that was too good for my standard (17).
The ball striking experience is something else. These are a game improvement club in the sense that you learn from every shot you hit. These clubs reward a good swing and are absolutely faithful - output matches input and they provide the sweetest feeling and mishits generally lose distance not direction.
They are gorgeous to look at at address and in the bag. Cons: UK prices compared to our US cousins - but that goes for everything from golf clubs to cd's.
People comment on how they mark up - yes they do but that is the price you pay for soft forgings. The battle scarred look is appealing to me anyway - these things were bought to do a job. Quality: Beautifully built and finished superb to handle - a credit to their designers and makers. Review Summary: Top clubs! dont be put off by the blade tag - if you are a confident ball striker you'll be able to hit with these.
Superb kit!
