Purchase: I purchased a 5-pw near new set on EBAY for $375 Pros: I've played Hogan Apex for most of the last 25 years, and these are similar in feel, but much better for consistency. The MPs are extremely straight and consistent for distance and trajectory. In fact, I find them difficult to bend at all except out of extreme side hill lies. I think I've had more 'gimme' tap ins in the past month than the prior two years. The pitching wedge alone is worth the purchase price. It has virtually eliminated any need for gap wedges in my game--probably the perceived balance and heaviness of the club.
The past couple of weeks it has been very windy and the shots don't seem to be affected much off these faces. A little shorter or a little longer, but not much movement. Cons: The distance gaping is a little quirky on the 7 iron--However, I don't recall missing a green with the 7 MP-32 Quality: They are still shiny Review Summary: I know from 50 plus years of playing golf equipment that familiarity breeds contempt and eventually all equipment wears out its welcome. These do seem special and I am having a love affair with the PW.

Purchase: I researched and went to the local golfsmith to try out different types of clubs for about two months. The MP-32's had great reviews and won the annual club test for 2005, so i thought i'd give them a try. I was a little skeptical about a blade style iron but these clubs are more forgiving than you would think. The feel of them when you hit the sweet spot is like no other iron that I hit. My old set was the adams gt3's, an oversized large cavity back. I was finding myself hitting very low underneath the ball having to scoop it off the ground. With these MP-32's i am able to hit the ball on a more downward swing, hitting the ball before the ground and making a much more predictable ball flight and distance. I did hit the MP-60's as well and didn't really see or feel much of a difference at all, and i thought that the 32's had a better look to them. I got my set off ebay new for 700 dollars. Pros: I like the look of these irons. They promote more confidence standing over the ball because of the thin topline. Not as light as some other blades i tried but very well balanced. Very accurate and forgiving for a blade. Cons: There is nothing i can say that i don't like about these irons. Quality: Top quality clubs. The cut-muscle design really does something different than any other blade design that i tried. The grain flow forging really feels good. Review Summary: All in all probably the best set of irons i have ever hit before. I havn't been playing the game as long as some others have, but i did take time in trying out many different makes and designs. In my opinion I don't think anyone could go wrong in buying a set of mizuno MP-32's. On 2006-09-14, Robert rated this Mizuno MP-32 a 5...(7398)
Details: Standard length and lie
Purchase: I purchased my set off of ebay after spending $35 for a fitting session and finding that I had standard measurements. I opted to go home and get on the computer and save a few bucks since my clubs were not going to be custom made. I paid $670 for a brand new set still in the plastic and received them in 2 days. Pros: I like the the blend of feed back, workability, and forgiveness. Finding the right ball to play is very important with forged irons. The carbon steel that these irons are made of allows the ball to stay in contact with the face longer than cast stainless steel. This factor is what determines the workability of the club. By being in contact with the clubface longer, the grooves get a chance to bite the cover of the ball. If the cover is too soft you will spin the ball too much and your control will suffer. All of this combined with swing speed will determine what ball is best for you. Once you find your combination, you should be pin high with your approach shots.
At address the MP-32 is very pleasing to the eye. It has a thin top line, but the club is large enough from heel to toe to give you confidence. My irons have S300 True Temper shafts which provide great control. Cons: The stock grips are a little big. I have small hands and used emory cloth to shave mine down to a comfortable size. Quality: Mizuno only uses the best components and there Quality Assurance system is top notch. Review Summary: While not forgiving enough for someone starting out in the game, I would say that any one with a 17 handicap or below would benefit by playing this iron. The blend of forgiveness, workablity, and feedback is just not there in other sets of irons on the market. On 2005-06-29, 1 rated this Mizuno MP-32 a 1...(5775)
Purchase: online $700 Pros: Looks good but over-hyped. Cons: Not what it is portrayed. Plays short vis-a-vis
Ping G-2's (about 5 yards per club on ave.).
Get the Pings which are a much better club. Quality: no complaints, but don't think you are going to get a better feel because it isn't true Review Summary: Lacks distance.
Feel is no better than Ping G2
Overall doesn't compare to Ping G2 (and I have played both) On 2004-11-11, Yeah Baby! rated this Mizuno MP-32 a 5...(4762)
Purchase: I purchased these “sweet” sticks from Las Vegas Discount Golf in SoCal for $650. It looks like you can pay more or less depending on where you go. My guy will adjust loft and lie angles indefinitely (big benefit for me), and gives me top $ on my used club trade-ins. I’ve played the Nike blades, Titleist 690MB, Minuno MP-30 & MP-33. Pros: For the past month I have only been able to hit my new irons at the driving range (grass). They feel great, nice trajectory (a little higher than the MP-33s). The MP-32s seem to glide through the turf better than the 33s. So after a month of anticipation I finally get out on the course to see what my new irons can do. So off I went to Strawberry Farms in SoCal (damm hard course). WOW!... I have never hit so many long straight shots in my life. With the short irons, I was deadly and no kidding, I whipped out my 5 iron and bang!, 180 yards to the middle of the green. My golfing buddy's chin was litterly hanging down. These irons played so well that I just kept hitting at the pin (made more greens in regulation than ever before). Cons: Not a thing! Quality: Great satin finish (more durable than my 33s). You know Mizuno forging is the best! Review Summary: I’m telling you what a delight to swing a set of sticks that worked flawlessly no matter where I was on the course. These clubs look great, feel/sound great and best of all play great. I'm a boggy golfer and have played a lot of different irons in search of the "magic". I've found it in the Mizuno MP-32. Purchase: Played the MP-30s then switched to the MP-33s and love them. Thought I'd give the new Mizuno sticks a try. As always... I purchase my clubs from Tak at Los Vegas Discount Golf in Cerritos, CA. Brand new out of the box MP-32s w/ S300 shafts for $650.00. Then just a little tweaking, 2% upright (no extra charge). Pros: WOW... long and straight, and soft as butter. Sweet spot is much larger and more forgiving than the 33s. I love the way blades look (hate cavity backs) and the 32s still retain the blade look and feel I like. I've also played the Titleist 690 MB and the Nike blades and prefer the Mizunos. Long irons appear to have a slightly higher trajectory than the 33s. Yep... there is most definitely a great sound and feel when you hit the ball well. And the shot just sores. Even my most errant shots were significantly less obvious than the 33s. Cons: Sorry can't find anything yet. Quality: Out of the box the lie angles were perfect. The finish top notch, and as anyone should know... the forging is the best in the industry. Review Summary: For anyone that likes blades, the MP-32 is a must try. For those who have shied away from blades because of the "hard-to-hit" reputation, go ahead give em try. These clubs mean business and will get the job done. The MP-32 is a Mercedes in freeway full of Chevys. On 2004-10-15, launcher5 rated this Mizuno MP-32 a 5...(4621)
Purchase: Just purchased these awesome irons off of ebay for $550.00. What a great deal. I still would like to get the lies adjusted if needed. Prior to this purchase I was hitting the ever so forgiving Cleveland TA-7's. Loved these irons, but ball flight was too high. Played first round with the MP-32s yesterday and all I can say is WOW! Consistent ball flight and very accurate accompanied with a great look. The smaller head can be intimidating to some but overall performance on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 10+++++. Pros: What I liked most about the irons was the consistent ball flight and awesome look. You get the look of a blade and the forgiveness of a cavity back. If you hit alot of toe hits. This iron is not for you. My opinion Mizuno is #1 in forged irons. What a fantastic job they have done with these irons. Cons: Nothing, everything is positive so far. Quality: Haven't had the irons long enough to say, but knowing who manufactured these irons says it all. Review Summary: Mizuno keep up the good work. What an awesome product. Would have to say these irons favor the low to mid handicappers. Also found that these irons perform exceptionally out of the rough. On 2004-09-09, supavolvo rated this Mizuno MP-32 a 5...(4318)
Purchase: aquired through the Mill River plan for about $660. i got these clubs instead of the MP-37's becuase i wanted somthing that would be forgiving on misshits and still give me the workability of a blade. Pros: feels just like the MP-37 except its easier to hit out of the rough and it has a slightly larger sweet spot. it is just as long, jsut as controlable, and has the same trajectory as the mp-37. Cons: still does not fogive toe misshits. Quality: highest. Review Summary: the web site says its for the agressive low handicaper, but if you can keep the ball off the toe of the club and strike the face consistantly you can play this club
