Purchase: Some reckoned my handicap was too high (12) for these clubs as they were "hard to use" - out of sheer desperation and belief in my reasearch I bought them. €800 . Too expensive but so is everything in Ireland ....they were so wrong.
Pros: Again, I took a risk but felt I had to be right - so I started to use them ..... Well...everything good that anyone says about these clubs is true - I absolutley love them - they tell you what you are doing with your shot - even bad shots go straight and 80% of the intended distance - they teach you about your swing , speed, tempo and shaping - the sweet spot is plenty big to hit the ball - I have reduced my h/cap by 3 because of the clubs in two months - the forged feel they give is incredible for anybody serious about golf - I had never experienced it - I had read about it and thought surely these people are on drugs. No, it is true - I feel almost guilty I enjoy using them so much - for accuracy and feel and length - for e.g., I didn't expect I would be able to use the 3 iron so easily but I can - I actually think these clubs are easier to use than any improvement clubs I have used - maybe not for starting out golfers, but anybody playing years - maybe that shoots in the early to mid 80's consistently - and wants to improve - should buy these - you can't go wrong.
Cons: Forged heads denting - altho' I could put the clubs in more gently to the bag or buy headcovers
Quality:

Review Summary: They bring the onus of good golfing back to the player from the clubs, in the sense that they teach you about your shot and don't mask bad shots. Anybody who uses these will improve their game. Fantastic feel and trust when hitting the ball - they will do the work for you.

Purchase: HAVING PLAYED MY BELOVED X12'S FOR SOME EIGHT YEARS, REDUCING MY HANDICAP FROM 15 TO 9 IN THAT TIME, IT WAS WITH TREPIDATION THAT I MADE THE DECISION TO LOOK SERIOUSLY AT FORGED CLUBS. ADVICE FROM MY LOCAL PRO STEERED ME COMPLETELY IN THE DIRECTION OF MIZUNO WITH THE PROMISE THAT THEY HAD A CLUB WHICH WOULD PROGRESS MY ALL ROUND GAME. AS SOON AS I HAD A COUPLE OF SEPERATE DAYS PRACTICE WITH A DEMO MP 30 6 IRON, I JUST KNEW THESE WERE THE CLUBS FOR ME!
Pros: THE SWINGWEIGHT OF THE HEAD THROUGH THE STRIKE WAS SO CONSISTENTLY STRONG, ENABLING THE BALL TO LITERALLY SHOOT OFF THE CLUBFACE WITH A POWERFUL TRAJECTORY. THE FEEDBACK IS LITERALLY" HOT BUTTER" EVEN ON OFF CENTER HITS THE BALL STAYS ON ITS INTENDED LINE WITH LITTLE LOSS OF DISTANCE.LONG IRONS, UNLIKE A LOT OF SETS ARE A JOY TO USE AND THE REST OF THE SET ARE UNTOUCHABLE.THEY ALL SIT SQUARE AND CLEAN AT ADDRESS AND INVARIABLY PRODUCE A LONG AND PENETRATING DRAW FLIGHT.( QUITE AMAZING AS I'D PLAYED A FADE WITH THE X12'S)
Cons: THERE IS NOTHING ANYONE COULD DISLIKE ABOUT THESE CLUBS.
Quality: QUITE SIMPLY MOST OF US LIKE THE LOOK OF GOOD IRONS!!. THESE MP30'S ARE UP THERE WITH THE BEST OF THEM. DEEP CHROMED BEAUTIES THAT HAVE A SIMPLE BUT GORGEOUS LOOKS FROM ALL ANGLES. AND IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THE WAY YOUR IRONS LOOK, THEN YOU ARE PART WAY TO PLAYING WELL WITH THEM! THEY ARE CONSTRUCTED MAGNIFICENTLY AND EXUDE CLASS.

Review Summary: I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT WITHIN MINUTES OF TRYING OUT THE DEMO 6 IRON MP 30, I KNEW THESE WERE THE CLUBS THAT WOULD ASSIST ME IN LOWERING MY HANDICAP! I HAVE NOW GOT DOWN TO 4.8 AND BASE THIS MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT ON THE DECISION TO BUY THESE IRONS.LOVELY TO BEHOLD.A JOY TO PLACE BEHIND THE BALL AND AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO STRIKE WITH.MORE IMPORTANTLY ANY REASONABLE GOLFER WITH A HANDICAP OF 14 OR LOWER WILL SEE AN IMPROVEMENT IN HIS GAME WITH MP30'S

Purchase: I GOT THIS SET FOR MY BIRTHDAY,ON FEB,12TH.I SPENT A LOT OF TIME LOOKING,AND TRYING OUT DIFFERENT IRONS.I WAS PLAYING TITLEIST 962B IRONS,FOR ABOUT THREE YEARS.I HIT THE MP30 FROM MIZUNO.IWAS SOLD.I WAS FORTUNATE, THAT A GENTLEMAN FROM MY COURSE WAS SELLING HIS PLAYED ABOUT 3 TIMES.I TRADED MY IRONS AND PAID $100.00
Pros: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CONSISTENCY OF THESE IRONS.MY 962B IRONS DID SERVE ME WELL I AM A 1 HANDICAP AND NOW I AM PLAYING MORE LIKE A 1 HANDICAP.WHEN I HIT A 6 IRON I KNOW IT IS GOING TO GIVE ME 175YDS. WITHIN 2-3YDS. MY 962B 6 IRON WAS SOMETIMES 165-180YDS. THE FEEL IS PURE BUTTER.
Cons: I JUST WISH THEY WERE NOT SUCH A HANDSOME SET OF IRONS. I FIND MYSELF A LITTLE CAUTIOUS WHEN HITTING FROM HARDPAN,I WISH THEY COULD DESIGN FORGED IRONS TO BE MORE DURABLE. I USE HEAD COVERS ON THESE BABIES.
Quality: I WOULD SAY WITHOUT A DOUBT,FIRST CLASS.THESE IRONS ARE SOME OF THE BEST LOOKING ON THE MARKET.I'LL SAY IT AGAIN BUTTER WHEN YOU HIT THEM.

Review Summary: AWESOME,NONE BETTER PERIOD.

Purchase: I purchased these irons from the Golf Warehouse at Auckland, New Zealand for $NZ2000. After playing with Cobra Gravity Backs for a number of years, I decided that it was time for a change, and change for me is a big thing. After reading numerous articles concerning 'blades' and cavity backs', and the advancement in technology for both options I resolved to find out for myself. I tried Titleist 762s and found that while there was a distinct improvement in my capacity to work the ball, the clubs from 3 through to 7 produced a similar ball trajectory, tending to float rather than penetrate through the air. I guess that could be ascribed to the similarity in weighting, partcularly towards the bottom of the clubheads. The Titleist 690MBs were sweet and gave you a sense of control over where you wanted to play the ball. Trajectory was absolutely sizzling on well struck shots. I gained an extra 10 to 15 yards from 4 through to 7 and found that it was easier to deloft or loft the club head when required. Then I tried the MP30s and found that I could do exactly the same thing and it cost me less. It really became a matter of asthetics vs price.
Pros: These clubs by Mizuno are brilliant. They sit well at address compared with the cast clubs I tried, and give a good sense of where the club head is through out the swing. Simply superb out of the rough. The feed back after striking the ball is good, essential when you need to know what you did right or wrong. No jarring and a sweet soft sensation. My ability to work the ball has increased tremendously - dead straight, fade or gentle draw these clubs do it all. Trajectory particularly when hitting into a stiff breeze is excellent assisted I guess by the way in which Mizuno have adjusted the perimeter and sole weighting for each club. Offsets on the club heads are less than what I have been use to playing with but a major contributing factor towards the nature and flight of the ball, which has enabled me to work my shots with greater ease. They are superb looking irons and look just as good as any 'bladey'.
Cons: Only one. Mizuno should consider changing the loft on the pitching wedge from 48 to 46 degrees. Most golfers these days opt for specialist wedges that fill the gaps from 50 to 60 degrees, but still require a wedge that will send the ball 100 to 130 yards and hold on the green. The 48 degree PW is too close to those specialist options.
Quality: Well made beautiful pieces of art. These forged irons produce the same quality of ball striking, workability and feedback that any of the current 'bladey' forged irons produce. Dead straight, fade or draw, these clubs do it all. I'm happy with the stock True Temper Dynamic Gold Steel S300 shafts. I won't be on a 7 for very long!

Review Summary: Well made set of irons that look as good and play as well as bladed clubs. If your a mid to low handicapper, you should consider these weapons before making a decision about changing from cast cavity to forged bladey, as I did. Soft feeling and good feedback through the swing as well as at impact. A must consider if you're looking for game improvement.

Purchase: The clubs were purchased at Fiddler's Green golf shop near Eugene, OR. Price - $599.00 3 thru PW. I chose to purchase the gap wedge instead of the 3 Iron. There was a small upcharge due to the price of the wedge. The Titleist .cb's were in the running, but were $200.00 more for the set than the Mizuno's. I got the 4 thru gap wedge, and the Mizuno sand wedge for less than I would have paid for the Titleist 3-PW. I moved up from my old cast clubs with the stronger lofts, and don't regret it for one second.
Pros: As expected with forged clubs, the feel of a well struck ball is exceptional. 3/4 shots seem much easier to control due to the increased feel, especially with the wedges up to the 8 iron. I didn't lose more than a few yards of distance compared to my old clubs with the stronger lofts (the Mizuno PW is 2 degrees weaker than the old cast club). Digging the ball out of long rough with the short irons seems easier also. Maybe it's the smaller club head. A thinned 6 iron flew low and stopped 5 feet from the hole. There is some forgiveness on mishits, but probably not as much as with the cast clubs. Great looking club!
Cons: The clubs took a couple of weeks longer to deliver than expected (special order of 1/2 inch over). The 4 iron is less forgiving the the rest of the clubs, but that probably has more to do with my 10 handicap than the club.
Quality: The clubs ding up easily, but I guess that is the price you pay for playing great feeling forged clubs. Everything delivered is of high quality.

Review Summary: The MP30's were more affordable than I imagined when I started my search for a new set of irons. The quality is first rate and the feel of the clubs is great. I'm hitting nice controlled draws. I've noticed immediate improvement from 150 yards in. The Mizunos Black Ox wedges make a nice compliment to the irons. Money well spent.

Purchase: I bought mp30 in my Colf Club near Milan (ITALY). I have paid approximately 1,000 USD.
Pros: Well made, stable with a penetrating ball flight.
Cons: I like everything of these Irons
Quality: Quality is A-1, balance is awesome and the best looking irons on the market.

Review Summary: Anyone looking for a true forged club, don't forget to check out the Mizuno MP30. They are truely a great set.
