Purchase: I acquired this unit from a highly respected golf course pro shop. I choice these irons because the feel of the ball coming off of the clubhead felt great. Also I was able to increase my distance with them. I paid $525. Pros: I liked the feel of the steel shaft and the construction of the clubs. When swung correctly the clubs perform very nice, with good results. Cons: The one major drawback for me is the grips. They seem to have a hard feel to them. Also they seem to feel small. Quality: The construction and quality is very very good. Review Summary: Mizuno is known for the performance of their irons. The MX 20 is very forgiving, and when hit decently the results can be very rewarding.

Purchase: Local pro shop. Long Island NY. Replacement for Tour Edge Tour model irons.
Paid about $800, 3- PW. Pros: These are shafted with TT Dynamic Gold Lite w/ Sensicore, S300 flex. Sweet sticks. Very easy to hit long irons. Lofts are a little juiced so expect 1/2 - 1 club longer if you are now playing standard lofts - whatever that means today! Great feed back from the forged heads. Misshits aren't too punishing. Set up nicely at adress with thin topline. Cons: Grips are cheesy. I regripped with golf Pride Vistory full cord's almost immediately. Higher ball flight in low irons (8-PW) than my old set takes some getting used to. Quality: Fit and finish are first rate. If you are used to buying off the rack note that Mizuno's are built for Japanese market and standard length is 1/4 inch shorter than industry - 5 iron is 37.75 vs 38 std - and lie is flatter - 60.5 deg vs 62. So if you fit into a std length and lie, you will have to custom order std + 1/4 length and 1.5 deg up. These aren't inexpensive sticks and a club fitting is the way to go. Review Summary: These are high-quality irons, easy to play irons that will give you many years of enjoyment. Though they are billed as game enhancement irons (read game improvement), I know many low handicappers who play them. (I am a 12 and I have two friends who play them who are a 2 and 3, respectively). If the short iron trajectory was a little lower, they would be perfect. On 2002-09-19, Scott Pennington rated this Mizuno MX 20 a 5...(580)
Purchase: Paid $499 at The Golf Haus in Lansing, MI Pros: The have to be the most accurate, sweetest feeling irons I've ever hit. I bought them with the s-300 shafts and have played perhaps 20 rounds with them already. They're wonderful. Cons: I hated the grips - not just dislike, but real hatred. I replaced them after two rounds with some golf pride grips and they're now perfect. Quality: Top notch quality. I walk most courses, so they get wobbled back and forth in my back going on and off my back, bouncing down the fairway.... and they still look great, even for forged. Review Summary: Quite an upgrade from my old Cobra oversized. I don't hit the 3-iron as well, but they're at least a club longer, so it's not an issue as the 4 simply took it's place, thus freeing a space in my bag for something yet to come - maybe a 5-wood? If you're thinking about the Hogan clubs, go hit the Mizunos and feel the difference. Great clubs. On 2002-07-24, Titus rated this Mizuno MX 20 a 5...(302)
Purchase: Purchased the set from BHM Golf for $560 including shipping.
I hit my friend's irons at the driving range and immediately fell for it. The feel and accuracy/consistency made me decide to let go of my present set and bought the Mizunos.
By the way, my fitting size is standard, hence, I can order a set straight from the racks. Pros: Although the feel of the Hogans are a little sweeter, the Mizunos are more accurate and consistent - they are prettier too.
I can hit the long irons as I can hit the short ones. They are just fun to hit!!!
I have played with these for about 9 rounds and shaved off an average of 7 strokes. Where I used to hit in the 90s, I am now in the 80s. Hit it on the toe or heel and the ball will still fly like an arrow, hit it in the middle and it is dead satisfying - like having a cold can of beer after a round of golf. Cons: The grips easily wear out. Quality: I strongly believe the construction and quality of the clubs are very good if not one of the best out there. Mizuno is known for quality products. Review Summary: Worth every penny I spent on this set of clubs. I am saving to buy a second set, anyway, I intend to use these as long as I can.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
