Details: Standard True Temper Lite R300
Purchase: Just bought these Mx900s at knock down price of £300 (were £650)since new MX 950 are due out soon. I wanted a high class, well crafted set, hopefully forged if possible, and at £300 these were a 'no brainer'!
Pros: They look, feel, and behave like a 'class act'. Not he slightest fibrations when hit 'off centre' just pure feel and as stated in many reports this buttery feel. It has to be experienced to understand it. It is quite perculiar, it feels both soft, but very solid at the same time. They are a delight to use. I hit the 8 iron about 100 feet in the air, over an oak tree, and still managed to get about 140 yards distance. They are truely eerie in their forgiveness. Can't wait to get more use out of them!
Cons: As the saying goes in Yorkshire....nowt.
Quality: First class forged irons built to make the club golfer enjoy the game and feel like a proper player. What golf has been crying out for these last 300 years. Review Summary: I'm sure the above says it all. What a steal at £300! I would have thought a few times at paying £600, but after using them they are worth it for the pure feel of playing golf the way we all dream about.

Purchase: I bought these from a relatively new golf supply store in Sterling Va calle Golf Etc.
I bought the 4-pw for $787 but I got a great trade in amount which offset the high price.
Pros: When I look for a set of irons there are four main things I am looking for: Forgiveness, Distance, Feel and Look. I have always had to make a tradeoff and get irons that have two or three of the things I am looking for. That is until now!! These are good looking, very forgiving, very long and have great feel. I really have never played with a better set of irons and I have played with many different sets over the years from forged blades to oversize cast clubs. I had a set of MX 23's for a while and while I thought they were pretty good I can now tell you that they are not as forgiving nor do they go as long as the MX 900. Please do yourself a favor and try these, if you can not hit these I would suggest try a different game.
Cons: I hate to repeat what other reviewers have already said but for a nine hundred dollar set of irons you would think the grips would be better. The grips that come on the club are not horrible but they are nowhere near as good as the Wynn grips I had on my previous set. If these clubs came standard with Wynn grips I absolutely would not have anything bad to say whatsoever.
Quality: These seem like very well made clubs to me. I have only hit them three rounds but I have no reason to think they wont last for years. Purchase: I bought these irons at golf town in Calgary for $1300. I got these clubs because my appoach game was not up to par and the long irons in my bag were pretty much useless. I was having trouble hitting the green and was wasting many strokes trying to chip the ball close instead of having a birdie putt.
Pros: This sett of irons is a great improvement set and allows you to hit the long irons straiter and with more comsistancy. The scoring clubs make it easier to get close to the hole and have a makable putt left. The club makes a great sound even if the hit was off center. Very forgiving. The chunky looking head gives the golfer more confidence and lines up great.
Cons: The only bad thing was the heavy pricetag.
Quality: Very well built. Great quality Review Summary: If you need to increase distance and accuracy these irons are for you. great for all handicappers
