Purchase: Got these sticks of e-bay for 249.99 shipping included.
Pros: although they are not a forged iron, i have been able to work the ball fairly easily. they seem to fit my swing better than any other irons i have hit, and for the price i would not replace them with any other iron on the market. was stuck in the mid to high seventees with my titliest and since using these have shot a 73,70,and 71 and a couple other rounds im still trying to forget about. at no fault of the clubs, my swing was just not working those days.
Cons: no complaints.
Quality: quality seems to be great so far but i only have seven rounds on them.

Review Summary: very easy to control, very long, easy to hit from everywhere. couldnt be happier.

Purchase: I purchased these clubs on Ebay fall 2002 for $350 with the blue exar graphite shafts reg. flex.
Pros: These clubs are easy to hit. No need to over swing. Unlike some improvement clubs you can work the ball right to left or left to right. These are acurate clubs and the ball will fly high. Although I have always hit a high flying ball. These are excellent clubs for the money but they are not quite as good as the Callaway VFT irons.
Cons: I don't have any complaints about these clubs. If I didn't like them I wouldn't still have them in my bag. I took a set of Hogan Edge forged clubs out of my bag after I tried the MX-11 clubs because I liked them so much.
Quality: The top edge of the club is slightly thicker than traditional clubs but these have to be thicker because of the hollow technology. The hollow technology lets Mizuno redistribute the weight to create a low center of gravity and I think you get a spring type effect like you do with a metal wood.

Review Summary: The bottom line is that Mizuno doesn't make these any more so you can get some good deals on new old stock at places like Ebay. Ther are some slightly better clubs if money is no object, but there is nothing better for the money.

Purchase: I picked up the MX-11's at a local golf headquarters on sale for 499.99. I was a bit leary of the 200 dollar discount, but after hitting them, it was the best deal I have ever found.
Pros: The MX-11's swing straiter and smoother than any other club, I have gained quite a bit more accurcy and I can hit the lower irons (3 & 4) without cursing at my club after I swing. These clubs also look great in the bag, I have receive alot of compliments on the clubs. I also am very fond of the grips, I could tell my old set were spinning in my hand, I feel like I have more control over these irons, results, more strait shots, less rough.
Cons: I have honestly not found any comuplaints, especially if you can find these for under 500 bucks.
Quality: The club is designed to have more head weight behind the sweet spot, and being that I am not a long ball hitter, I have picked up almost 10 yards per iron. In conjunction with the relocated mass behind the sweet spot, Mizuno uses something they call "Hollow Technology" to leave a hollow pocket in the iron head, I am not sure of the mechanics behind this pocket, but I like it.

Review Summary: The Mizuno is a well designed club. I originally went to pick up a set of clubs that I would work through and replace with a better (more expensive) set someday. Now I am not that sure I will need to. The MX-11's have not let me down yet.
