Purchase: I bought SW-2Iron about 3 years ago, new for £300 at the Europoen Golf discount in Leicester. I wanted a good set of clubs which could be custom fitted for loft and lie to suit me. They have dynamic gold r300 sensicore shafts. When I first tried them in store under computer monitoring they just felt right imeediately, with a small compact head with a well ballanced shaft.
Pros: Quality is very good, and I prefer the slightly smaller club head. I have the loft and lie checked regularly (every 4 months) however, it rarely changes and without any adjustments the check up is usually free. 3 years on I have had shaft frequency check and all are + or - 5% of the 300 intended for r300 shafts. Good level of spin with the right ball and a good reention of value and should still fetch £200 ish in good condition.
Cons: Becasue the irons are so soft they can easily become chipped and knocked. Some second hand sets look tatty if the have not had head covers and regular cleaning. I seem to have lost about 5% of my distance per iron perhaps due to the soft face and hence slower speed of the club head. However it is this dwell time on the face that give spin and control.
Quality: Quality is very good, as is well documented about mizuno forged iron. Take care of the heads and they will retain a good appearance. One or two swing weights on the hosel have losened however, this is soon solved.

Review Summary: The small heads will not suit everyone, and you must be happy and consistent in your swing as the sweet spot is not as easy to find as some of the oversize deep cavity back, irons. Beautiful shot feel when using a soft ball, and awful when hitting a hard distance ball. Takes some getting used to the distance loss and can make you alter the lofts slighty even though they are already +1deg compared to normal. Very good for shaping shots, which equals hooks and slices for those with inconsitent swings.
