Purchase: Got both the 56-14 SW and the 60-06 LW off Ebay for $120.00. I have the Mizuno MP-33 irons, and wanted to see if their wedges felt as good as their irons.
Pros: Handicap: 7 Age:29 Well, they do feel as good as their irons! Really soft. The unfinished ball striking area imparts a huge amount of spin. The finish is really classy looing and doesn't cause glare. They have a good slightly heavy weight to them, but that's good for powering through the rough. The grooves are pretty sharp, and the face is designed to rust to impart even more spin with time. The sole grind on the LW is very easy to open up and hit the flop shot.
Cons: The Mizuno grips were kinda cheap feeling. They are Golf Pride Tour Velvets, but they aren't quite as nice as an aftermarket tour velvet. No big deal, change 'em and you'll be happy.
Quality: Very good. Only time will tell with wedges how well they stand up to use, but initial quality is very high, much like the Mizuno irons.

Review Summary: These wedges are in line with the great soft feel and quality of Mizuno's iron offerings. The spin is the best I have experienced in a wedge. Mizuno usually doesn't get the ink in the wedge area in magazine reviews in the US, but European and other countries' golf mags are usually pretty high on them. I would have to agree with that assessment, and reccommend these to anyone who wants to spin the ball like crazy and experience that great forged feel.
