Purchase: Tried on course demo from 2nd swing golf shop. Tried along side Titleist and Cleveland lob wedges in evaluating my purchase. Ended up going with the Cleveland 900 60* low bounce. They were asking $110.00 for the mizunos.
Pros: Nice black finish to it cuts glare and makes the head feel really small for a precise feeling at setup. Frames the ball nicely. Incredible spin! Really sharp grooves. Golf pride tour velvet grip is nice.
Cons: This wedge will provide all the spin your heart desires, unless you have a light wallet. It will eat balls like a... (oh this is really difficult to keep it clean) Lets just say it will scuff the hell out of your precious ProV1's. The Cleveland spins it like crazy too, just doesn't incur the ball damage like the Mizuno. Great spin but at a price. I ended up going with the chrome 900 Cleveland. The mizuno felt a little ligh in comparison.
Quality: Really nice construction. I understand these will rust over time to provide even more spin. Scary thought!

Review Summary: Much like putting, wedges have a large "feel" consideration to them. It is hard to say one is better than the other. This is a solid wedge with crazy bite. A little light and a little expensive when you consider all the balls its capable of consuming (still keeping it clean here, you can insert your own vulgar ending!)
