On 2005-05-04, Sutski rated this Momentus 60 Degree Short Game Wizard a 5...(5479)

Purchase: Bought it used off fleabay for £35 after seeing it on the Golf TV Proshop.(for £60) Liked the idea of a really 3heavy shaft making you accelerate through the ball to ensure a good clean contact.
Pros: 2 weeks, a 1/2 hr practice session and 4 rounds later, I really love this club. The weight is so right for the delicate short game as it promotes a really smooth swing action rather than a stab and hope action....I have never had such a sweet trajectory from 50yards and in. A full swing at 50 yards produces a very high shot that stops dead even if you don't do things like backspin!! A half swing from 25 yards gives you an up and under that gently kisses the green on impactt. I have never even been close to hitting a consistently decent bunker shot until I used this club.
Cons: I have a couple of times swung too lightly and succeeded in hitting the ball about 4 inches up and 4 inches long...That is unfortunately me not the club though I think...:O( Great for coming out short from a bunker. Not so good if you want to travel some distance out to the pin. (possibly me again. doh.)
Quality: Good so far.

Review Summary: I shall be buying the 48 degree wedge as well in the next day or so (120yards and in)as I cannot stop hearing that the short game is where the improvement starts...It is a great club and you only have to look how few are on fleabay to realise not many people are getting rid of them after they have bought them....I am pretty sure you will not be disappointed especially if like me you shoot in the low 90's.
