On 2006-04-25, Sean rated this NGC Controller a 5...(6843)

Details: Controller irons made by NGC Golf Co. Oversized with the patented Roll and Bulge design. automatically correct hooks and slices. Steel Shafts

Purchase: Before I bought these clubs I came here to see If there were any reviews and there weren't any. I decided to get them anyway. Only because of what the NGC golf Co. claimed about the clubs. I got mine on Ebay for 1/2 the price of retail April 1st 06 today is the April 25th 06. Let me just say that since I'm new to golf my swing and ball flight was crazy. I had a Very Bad Slice. I have been on the driving range for the last 21 days and I can now hit the ball Straight as an arrow 8 out of 10 times. It really blows my mind.
Pros: I like the fact that I can hit the ball straight. I could seldom hit the ball straight mostly slicing like a 100 yards to the right. Off a tee I can hit them like clock work and now recently off the ground as well. I'm 36 and started golf later than most. If you don't know about these irons they have the Patented Roll and Bulge Design.
Cons: I think I could have got mine cheaper. But the guy ended the Auction early for me.
Quality: Solid construction steel shafts, Patented Roll and Bulge Design. The design of the face is slightly rounded so if you hit off the heel or toe the ball still goes straight.

Review Summary: My son 16 has been playing for the last 3 years his score are mostly in the mid 80's sometimes high 70's. I feel that my iron shots are straighter than his if not better. Only time will tell I haven't played yet mostly practice on driving range. But I can hit the ball Straight and thats all I wanted to do. I will keep you posted I plan on shooting in the 80's by end of summer. Even if it's the high 80's.
