Purchase: After 4 putting 2 holes on an easy course, I felt the need to get a new putter. I was looking at the new spring selection of putters at Sports Authority, I found the Never Compromise Sub 30 putter. I picked it up and stroked it. It felt like the right one. The original price was $100 + tax. I saw the little yellow sticker on it that said it was $29.97 + tax. 70% discount seems very good, so I bought it. I didn't go wrong.
Pros: The insert in the putter face is soft, I think it is a clear polymer insert. Aiming is very simple with the line. The heel-toe weighting is very important in putting, and this club offers the best weighting for a consistant putt. The grip is made by Winn grips. The grip offers a soft yet tacky feel, which is probably my favorite part of the club. This putter hits straight and the ball rolls true.
Cons: The putter does not come with a headcover, which made me a little disappointed, but for $30 I would be glad to purchase one. Other than that, there is nothing I don't like.
Quality: This is a top-of-the-line putter. The construction is very solid and the weighting from head to toe is perfect. They used the best grip possible, and I have no regrets on this purchase.
