Purchase: After spending over an hour trying different putters at Puetz Golf, I found I was having great success with this putter on the practice green, then discovered it was on sale for $49. Sold.
Pros: The overall feel of this club is perfect, from the weighting, to the touch on the ball, to the confidence in alignment. I have only played three rounds with it so far, but during the last one I had only 29 putts on the day, and made three putts outside 20 feet. On 17 I was standing over a 35 footer, and realized that I was brimming with confidence that I was going to make the putt no problem! Naturally, it went in dead-center.
Cons: The face with the insert is a little soft, resulting in some difficulty for really long lag putts. I have found that if I am outside 50 feet or so, I have difficulty getting the ball close because of problems getting the speed right.
Quality: The face weighting has proven to be key for me, I think, given my down-the-line putting stroke. (If you don't know how face vs toe weighting matches a putting stroke, research it before buying any putter.) The NC trademark black-gray-black style also helps a lot with alignment.

Review Summary: My bottom line is this story: Last time I played I was paired with someone with a Scotty Cameron Futura putter. On the 7th hole, as I had sunk a few putts, he asked if he could try my Sub30 out. He tried it a couple times, then used it on his 'official' putts on the next 4 holes. On the 13th green he offered me $100 cash for the club. When we ended, he offered me the $100 plus is Futura putter. I turned him down flat.
