Details: 10.5 degree square head regular shaft
Purchase: I bought this new on E-bay for around $90. It came as advertised, still in the wrapper. I already had a cobra f/speed and a Bertha 460 I bought last year, but I wanted a square head driver and did not want to spend $500 for the Callaway. Pros: I just got a chance to hit this yesterday on the range. First I hit my BB 460 and then the Nickent. First off I thought the Bertha set up well to the ball...the Nickent looks awesome at address. Next I hit it and 'what's this?' it goes further than my $300 BB. Sound is a little funky but who caresf. Distance is there and fade just quit fading and went straight. All this for $90 - over 80% less than Callaway's square head. Cons: Sound is a little tinny, but a lot less so than the Nike and some others I've heard. Quality: Just as well built as the $300 jobs. Great club head cover....far superior to the BB 460 cover. Review Summary: This has to be the best bargain I've bought in 40 years of golf, and I have spent thousand over the years. For the e/bay price you CAN NOT GO WRONG with this club. This is my driver for 2008 (at least til July when I get on the internet with my plastic card)

Details: Aldila NV65r regular. 460cc, draw bias - 9 degree loft.
Purchase: From Sienna Sport in Northern Ireland.
The yare the only suppliers to the Uk market - and after seeing many highly approving reviews, I just had to have one. Pros: This club sits very slightly closed and has internal weightings to help with a draw/ anti-slice.
Generally speaking, I hit drivers way to high, so I had this beauty custom made with the lower launching Aldila NV65 in regular.
What can I say ? this club delivers and performs..... BIG TIME!!!
My fade / slice has virtually gone and been replaced with a long raking gentle draw. It does not hit the ball as high as the excellent Sasquatch, but this lower flight gives me far more run after fairway impact.
Because of the fade disappearing and the ball running straight, it looks as if I have gained, on average, 25 yards on my average drives.
Mishits (which are few and far between) still leave the club face with a great deal of penetration.
The build quality is superb; which is to be expected as NICKENT have been making Driver head casings for CALLAWAY, for some time now.
Finally, I paid £120 for a custom made, top quality club...... which I rekon is about £100 cheaper than a similar type club.... but this will out perform any of them. Cons: Nothing regarding the Head or shaft, but I am not too sure about the Winn grip.. a bit wierd. Quality: 10 outta 10 all round Review Summary: High performing club that does exactly what it says it will do!
and............. at a fraction of the price.
Nickent are without doubt, the best kept secret in golf.
