Details: bought 34' and cut down to near 33'. standard loft, steel shaft, lie bend about 3 degree flat

Purchase: recommended by local pro. pay about US140 purchase at copeland sports, santa barbara CA
Pros: the alignment is a big help. very easy on the eyes once get use to it. a clicky impact feel which i like. not soft at my standard. pretty good on mis-hits.
Cons: its way too light for me. and the lie seems to be way up-right for me. the ball generate quite alot of back spin and skids too when i hit a long put
Quality: putter not very well made. top pipe was made of plastic and came loose after 6 months of normal use. its not face balance even though it should be.

Review Summary: an ok putter for me. after 6 months, i am ready to get something new. the pipe is a gem at first, but in fact the only advantage is the alignment aid. ppl should consider 2-ball seriously unless ready to change putter in about 6 months, and like the feather and clicky feel.

Purchase: Mammoth Golf in Timmonium, Maryland
Pros: For me, it's the perfect putter. Alignment is a snap, the feel is solid, a it's well-balanced. Even on the rare mis-hit, the ball rolls well. I've had it several months now and I'm putting better than I ever have before on both short and long putts.
Cons: Can't think of a single thing.
Quality: Very well made, although it sometimes looks more like something you'd take off into battle than a putter.

Purchase: Paid 149.99. Golf Discount in St. Louis. It was aquired to potentially fix some putting woes...
Pros: Alignment is perfect.
Cons: Nothing
Quality: Great

Review Summary: I was looking to replace my Ping Anser 2 with a mallet style. I was considering the 2 Ball Fill Lined when someone suggested the Pipe. I trialed both and went with the pipe. The alignment of the Pipe was better than the Two ball for me. Also the ball seemed to have a better roll. I played 9 holes with my old putter and shot 42 with 20 putts (including 2 3 putts). With the Pipe I played the same 9 hole and shot 38 with no 3 putts. Hopefully this is a trend and not a fluke. (BTW it's a short 9, on normal courses I shoot in the upper 80's)

Purchase: I bought the club on sale at Gold Warehouse for $139
Pros: I was thinking of getting a 2 ball putter but I tried out the pipe. I tried all the putters they had and kept going back to the pipe. I finally bought it and I'm glad I did. I used to think I had about a 50/50 chance for a 3 foot putt. Now I expect to sink every 6 ft putt and it's not unusual for me to sink a 10 footer. That says it all!
Cons: Nothing
Quality: Very solid
