Purchase: Purchased the club from Affordable Golf Direct. Paid $89.99 with a graphite shaft. I bought the thing because it was so inexpensive and the hype over this club was killing me. I just had to know how it would work for me. I got the 18.5 degree loft in hopes that it would replace the 5 wood in my bag.
Pros: It looks good and sets up well. I feel very confident when addressing the ball. When hit perfectly it soars through the air with the greatest of ease. The landing is soft with little roll. I was hoping for more roll but that's not the idea of the hybrid clubs I am told.
Cons: I was dissapointed to find that I got a little less yardage with this club than I would have with my 5 wood. I should have gone with the 15.5 degree or maybe the 17 degree club instead. (My fault, not the clubs) I was very surprised to find out that if is the least forgiving of the hybrids that I have tried. It also makes somewhat of a lame sound when striking the ball.
Quality: Seems to be solid and a quality unit.

Review Summary: As much as I liked the people at Affordable Golf Direct I wish I had purchased the club at Golfsmith because they have a 90/90 playability warranty. I would never buy this club if I had had a chance to try it out. Spend a little money and get a Taylor Made "Mid Rescue" or one of those Cobra "Baffler's" Those will cost you more money but you may be happier with the results.
