On 2005-11-19, shortgameshop rated this Nickent Iron Wood 3DX a 5...(6418)

Purchase: Bought a succession of 3 Nickent Iron Woods (new) over the past month thru ebay at an average cost of $80.00 delivered. Bot the 20 degree first follwed by the 23 degree and the 15.5 degree all in regular graphite.
Pros: Have demoed and payed ALL the utility clubs available either from OEM's are club component companies over the past 5 years. The Nickent Iron Woods are the best feeling and easiest to hit I found to date. I can work the ball right to left and high to low with all the clubs. You can play a low running hook or a high soft cut.
Cons: Hated the OEM grip (Winn). Replaced with Golf pride tour velvet. I thought the Winn's had a "greasy" feel. But this is a personal thing. I have never met a Winn grip that I liked.
Quality: Excellent workmanship from club to club with low key graphics and easy set up. Especially like the blunted look at address.
