Purchase: Bought second-hand/demo unit at Pro Shop.Paid +-100USD Pros: Large head instills confidence. Club was in good condtion. Very well priced when compared to the "Big Names" and the length and accuracy is perfect.Struggled a little the first time out, but my second round saw me move from the shortest hitter in the 4 ball to the longest. Most drives in the 250-280m range, but hit a killer of +-320m (hard & dry fairways helped a little) Cons: Didn't come with a head-cover - no big deal. Quality: Seems solid - the black head and black shaft with minimal/subdued graphics does not distract when setting up. Review Summary: Great club for the price. Can't believe the "Big Names" can provide much better performance especially when they are double the price of a new Airmax (that's here in South Africa)- I think we are paying for their huge advertising and marketing bills.

Purchase: Having only played golf for alittle over 6 years, I have been searching for the right clubs. I was using a MacGregor VIP ultra-light TI driver. But the more I played, I found I was getting stronger and hitting the ball harder. The MacGregor shaft started to feel too flexiable. My local golf shop tested my swing and started to show me different drivers more suited to my swing. They let me take the AirMax 360 out for a round. Playing that round sold the driver. I came back and bought it for $199. Pros: This driver hits the ball LONG and straight. Even miss hits (I have a tendancy it hit fades if I swing to hard) go very long. My miss hits end up off the fairway but as long as my golf partners straight hits. The club head size seems to be the right size. It looks good. Sweet spot hits sound good, you can tell by the sound a miss hit. Cons: The grip. I changed the grip to a Winn the day I bought the club. Quality: The white paint in the alinment V on the top of the club head shipped out within the first month. Original grip felt slippery. The original club head cover was poorly made and did not protect the shaft from bag wear. Review Summary: Great driver. Only slight cosmetic flaws. One of my golf partners is planning on buying one. He made up his mind after we played in a local tournament which had a longest drive hole. I hit my shot 318 yds, he asked to use my driver (first time he hit it) and hit the ball 327 yds! Guess he and I will be battling to see who hits the longest drive each weekend. On 2002-05-05, Eric Gortney rated this Nicklaus AirMax 360 a 5...(89)
Purchase: I bought the club at a local retailer her in Springfield IL, Golf Discount. I have a golf gear driver that was stolen and my sales guy recommended this club to me. The club retailed for $239.99 and they ate the tax because of my frequent visits. Pros: I love this club. It is very forgiving and the ball seem to explode off the face and never comes down. It immediatly cut 5 strokes from my game as I found more fairways and got closer to the greens. Miss hits tops and fats still travelled with confidence. It came with a great shaft. I also like the way the club looks and that adds confidence in my drives. Cons: The only thing I don't like is the grip. I becomes slick with sweat(I don't play with a glove) and could cause some problems in the humity. Quality: A huge 360 head witha cryogenic betati face and an awsome fugi shaft but a par grip. Excellent quality overall Review Summary: Get club for any handicap level. A welcome addition to my bag for sure.
