Purchase: Boughtt it from The Golf Shack in Madison, WI to replace and old Titlest D. Wanted something a bit newer and a bit more forgiving. Was looking at the Cleveland Launcher and the Ping G2 in the store when the salesman pointed me towards this. Took a few swings of all three in the store. Disliked the feel of the Launcher. While this and the G2 felt exactly the same. Since this one was $100 or so cheaper, I took it out for a test spin. It immediately went to the top of my must have list for golf, which I eventually got as a Christmas gift.
Pros: Simply the best driver I've ever hit. My drives would generally max out around 280 yards. Now, an easy tempoed swing can hit it 280. When I get a hold of one, an honest 300 is possible.
Cons: About the only thing I can complain about is that it's not a traditional name brand. Nicklaus clubs seem to be making head room on the muni courses, but I would like to see some pros using them.
Quality: The paint on the head looks like it could chip off easily. But, everything else looks great.

Review Summary: As the guy is the store said, 'Nicklaus is such a vain man that he wouldn't just put his name on anything.' This is an excellent club for the price and it compares very much with what Ping has to offer. If you ever get a chance, get to a store and compare the two brands. You will be surprised just how similar they are. But, the Nicklaus clubs are much cheaper.
