Purchase: 24 pack purchased on sale for $19.95 from Golf Galaxy Pros: I make contact all over the face of my driver and with this ball it didn't matter all that much. My bad hits normally found the ruff and my good hits soared. My second round with them I hit 75% of my fairways, which for a 25 handicap is amazing. I felt confident and shot lower scores. I found the ball to be extremely durable with one ball surviving 2 complete rounds of play. Cons: With irons and wedges the ball flies considerably further than most requiring major adjustments. I found myself playing punch shots or bump and runs to get predictable trajectory. Also off the driver the trajectory is extremely high, sometimes ballooning. In windy conditions this could be tricky. Quality: Excellent! Whatever paint Nike uses makes the ball very easy to find in the ruff. Review Summary: On Nike's website this ball was described as being designed to make the game more enjoyable for the average golfer and in that respect it succeeds. Touch around the greens is lacking but better than most balls selling for $10 per dozen. It's a tremendous value and I had my 2 best rounds ever using this ball. As of the writing of this review both TGW and Golf Galaxy have this ball on sale for $20 for a 24 pack.

I was advised on this ball by the ball selector on the nike website. I use pro V1's normally but was looking for a winter ball with more durablity, saving the m&m's for those better warmer conditions when scoring matters more. Pros: AWESOME WINTER GOLF BALL - long....real long....was surprised, I am hitting this a touch further than a pro V1 in winter conditions. the ball is relatively durable, lasted 12 holes before getting a real wedge scuff (off a raw finished super clean grooved wedge I really ripped) and the ball finished the round in good condition. flew relatively true in the wind, didn't get to high, and bit on the greens very well, finished in it's pitch mark on several occasions, didn't release much. Cons: A bit jumpy on chips, and felt it shot off the face of the putter a bit quickly, but most winter greens are like the face of the moon anyway so not a big worry. I wouldn't use this ball in dry and hard conditions, it wouldn't bite enough for my liking and certainly wouldn't hold the green with the long irons. Quality: very good, has a shiny finish which I thought would put me off, but didn't notice it once the ball was in play. the mojo logo is a bit big. Review Summary: excellent winter golf ball, couldn't recomend it enough. wouldn't use it through out the year because it's not soft enough for firm summer conditions, but unless you have a bottomless pit of pro V1's I'd recomend the Mojo as an alternative. plus it has the cool Karma ball. great for odd looks on the par 3's On 2005-07-03, Joe Golfer rated this Nike Mojo a 3...(5795)
Purchase: I was given a free two pack of these balls at a Golf Galaxy giveaway. Pros: Nothing special about these balls at all.
Totally average in all regards. Cons: When you buy a dozen, one ball will be an odd color, either pink, purple, or burnt orange (the color I got). So essentially one ball will be only good for par threes.
The ball is average length and feel isn't terribly soft either. Basically nothing special about it. Quality: Nothing wrong with construction. Review Summary: If you're just looking for an average ball at a reasonable price, then these will suit you fine.
If you're actually looking for a ball with specific characteristics to suit your game, or to increase distance or give you better feel around the greens, look elsewhere.
There's nothing wrong with the way these balls are made; they simply aren't anything special. On 2005-06-26, Shaun rated this Nike Mojo a 5...(5745)
Purchase: I purchased a dozen at Golf Galaxy in Appleton, WI for $20. Pros: This ball is long. I easily got 5 to 10 extra yards out of every club I hit. I always play NXT Tour and decided to give these a try. They are definately longer and feel about the same at contact. I did find that they did not hold the green as well as the NXT's but did not feel harder like some others here have said. The look of the ball is totally different and very nice. I got alot of attention when I teed up the red Karma ball. For those who don't know you get one randomly colored ball with "karma" written on the side. I found it to be a nice, fun, touch to the whole concept of the "MOJO"!! Cons: Scuffed a bit easier than other balls and didn't hold the green as well with mid to long irons. Short irons checked up and held nicely though. Quality: The "pearlized" look of the ball is great. I love the looks of it. The random colored karma ball is fun looking too. The balls scuff just a slight bit easier than other balls. Review Summary: I've switched to this ball permanently. I love it. Extra yards without loosing feel and the looks of the ball are great. And, at $20 they are a giant steal. On 2004-04-14, Ren rated this Nike Mojo a 3...(3366)
Purchase: Gift (Free) Pros: First, let me start by saying that I have been using the word "Mojo" since Austin Powers, under various context. So when Nike developed a ball called "Mojo", I just knew it was for me. It is a good ball in terms of distance. If that's your primary goal, go ahead and get a sleeve or two. I love the box too and it's not as hard a ball as people make it out to be. Slower swing speed golfers will benefit from this ball. For $20 a dozen you don't have much to lose. Cons: Dislikes start with the short game. NOT THE BALL for around the green. Touch and feel are almost non-existent. The way "Mojo" is written on the ball is not asthetically appealing at all. If you want a ball that looks, feels, and is long go with the Nike One Ball. Everything about that ball is worth every penny. Quality: Pretty decent ball for the money. A ball will last a least a round or two, pending no encounters with a cart path. Review Summary: Bottom line it's a ball for the mid-handicapper. Initially, you'll love this ball. However, the more you play and develop a desire to elevate your game, you'll realize that a premium ball is the way to go. Like I said for $20 a dozen you can't go wrong, but you'll want to step up your game very soon. On 2004-02-01, H.V. -- San Francisco rated this Nike Mojo a 3...(2704)
Purchase: Purchased a dozen at Don Sherwood's Gold and Tennis World in San Jose, CA. Got them right when they came out. I am a big fan of Nike balls (Super Softs to One), and wanted to try their latest offering. Pros: For those who like distance balls, this one is right up there with the rest of them (it's a harder ball than most other Nikes). It doesn't spin too much on drives and is able to hold its line very well. Also, its a pretty durable ball. Cons: I'm sad to say that I think Nike over-hyped this ball--it is not for everyone. I personally think there are better two piece balls out there. It doesn't provide very much feel and is too hard for the short game aspect. Also, I think the graphics on the ball needs to be redone. I tend to like brighter colors and flashy accessories, however, I found that the font used for "Mojo" is not very pretty and very distracting. For those who have not seen it, "Mojo" is written in large type in something that looks like Algerian type/font. Quality: This is a durable, but average performer. It is comparable to the Top-Flite 3000 series (which can be had for cheaper nowadays). Also, as mentioned above, the Mojo logo on the ball itself is not very aesthetically pleasing. Review Summary: For those who crave raw distance only, its worth a try. For others who want an overall performer, I cannot recommend the Nike Mojo. I actually ended up giving away the rest of my sleeves from the box since it was clear from the beginning that this was not the ball for me. Purchase: Big 5 Sporting Goods in Lancaster, CA for 20.00 on sale. Pros: Hits great off both irons and woods. Putts true and feels very soft on chip shots. Cons: Not a very durable ball. Nicked and scratched up very quickly. Quality: Built with Nike quality. For the dollar it's worth it. Quality of this ball is bogie, but not eagle like the 'ONE'. Review Summary: This ball plays great on all shots. To give this ball a long life though, keep it on the tee box, fairway, and green only or you'll have to switch balls because of the easy cosmetic wear.
