Purchase: Purchased from Ebay, got a good deal.
Pros: If I get my drives on the fairway, I can score, but my driver had been very erratic, forcing me to club down (utility or even a 3 iron from the tee), which worked ok, but I felt I was giving up on one of my assets, which is my length. The balls I'd been playing (Maxfli Rev Tours, Blackmax) were fine with irons, but really went miles off-line with bad drives. Wanted something more 'user friendly' from the tee, but didn't want to give up too much feel and green-side ability. Tried several compromise balls, but all fell far short of being acceptable around the greens. Enter the Nike. Long and accurate with the driver, lovely feeling with irons, great green-side performance. Excellent on the grren. Not quite as silky soft as the Maxfli, but far more forgiving on miss-hits.
Cons: Even though I'm not a great friend of Nike, I have to admit there is nothing to dislike about this ball.
Quality: First class. Ok, will get chewed up with wedges, but a small price to pay.

Review Summary: If like me you are suffering with the driver, but need feed-back and spin characteristics into the greens, try the One Platinum. Might be a pleasant surprise - it certainly was for me.

Purchase: I paid $40.00 at USA golf shop i bought them after I saw the commercial on TV. I used to play Callaway Hex tour before these came out. I wanted to find a ball that would fly a bit lower with more feel
Pros: Eveything, I am usally a 280-320 yard and WOW! My first tee shoy went the ball exploded 330 I was very impressed. The ball has a soft feel but distance is not affected at all. I got this ball to check up with a 5 iron. This ball has explosive distance and unmatched feel. And best of all the ball is tuff i played this ball 54 holes and it felt the sames as hole one in scuffs or anything like that. GET IT! TRY IT!
Cons: Nothing!
Quality: unbelievable. best constuction in a ball i have ever seen it is tuff as a Top Flite XL but doesnt feel like a rock

Review Summary: If you want to improve your game buy it.

Purchase: I wanted to see what the hype was about so for $5 I purchased a trial sleeve of 2 balls...they're both still in superb condition after 2 rounds.
Pros: Everything!!!
Cons: its perfect
Quality: Great ball...feels hard..but it perfoms

Review Summary: This is by far one of the better balls on the market right now. I play to about a 5 handicap and in my first round with this i noticed exceptional spin and great playing. I played with one ball the whole round en route to a 73. The ball had no scuff marks on it and looked just as the brand new one platinums did. This coming from a pro v1 player...I recommend everyone make the switch

Purchase: Bought the Nike One Platinums at Mammoth Golf store in Timonium MD for $40.
Pros: Exceptional feel. Very soft cover, but also very durable. Rolls true.
Cons: Not one thing.
Quality: Very well contructed. As I said before, the durability of the ball is excellent considering how soft the ball feels.

Review Summary: First round I played with the platinums, I shot my best round in 2 years. 81. Unless the new V1's have improved A LOT, I'll stay with the Nike. Truely a great ball.
