On 2004-02-25, Unhappy Camper rated this Nike Power Distance Super Far a 2...(2943)

Purchase: Purchased at Sports Chalet, $19.95 dozen. Felt compelled since they stopped making the Nike Distance Feel-Speed which I liked.
Pros: Spin and softness OK, but distance NOT up to billing (see below).
Cons: These balls were one club less distance than the Nike Feel-Speed's I had played for 2 years. I'm a 12 index and have some decent feel for distance. I tried and tried to get from Nike (or on the Internet) a comparison of distances with their "new" low end distance ball. While Nike actually responded nicely with two separate e-mails, they provided no distance comparisons like I asked for (just marketing mumbo-jumbo). So I'm off again searching for a replacement ball.
Quality: Quality was fine except for distance performance.

Review Summary: Do NOT buy these balls if you really want a "Super Far" ball (or even one that equates to the $15.95 Nike balls they used to sell.
