Purchase: I received these balls as a gift from a business associate.
Pros: These bals roll true on the green. They even checked up nicely and held the green.I normally play Titleist Pro V1s and I think I will go back to them. I am n my thirties and I was playing with a man in his mid seventies and he outdrove me on several holes. These balls had zero distance for me. They felt like cotton balls. I've never hit a ball that soft before. I don't have a very fast swing speed either. I guess these balls are better suited for a real slow swing speed in order to get the most distance out of them.
Cons: I didn't care for the incredible lack of distance. These balls are way too soft for my tastes. I think I'm going to give the rest of the dozen away. Around the green they behaved fine and they rolled very true. The lack of distance was tremendous.
Quality: Construction and integrity of the balls are first rate.

Review Summary: If you have a slower swing speed this may be a good choice for you. If you don't like spending 40 bucks for a dozen golf balls then maybe a Callaway product or the new pinnacle exception would be a better choice.

Purchase: I bought these at a Golf Liquidation store at a mall for $18.99 a dozen. The fellow running it told me they move into a mall for a month, pack everything up and go to another town. I purchased them because I'm a fan of "soft" low compression balls and I hadn't tried Nike's offering yet.
Pros: After playing them for a couple weeks I'm very pleased. They are definatly soft! Softer than Titlest DT So/Lo's and Maxfli Noodles if you ask me. I absolutely love the feel they give when hit properly.
Cons: The downside to these is definatly the durability. After 9 holes they look like they're ready for the shag bag. I don't have a fast swing by any means, yet I seem to peel the cover on full wedge shots.
Quality: Quality seems good. No complaints there, the feel is great. The only issue is durability. The same cover that gives the Super Soft feel also isn't much for durability.

Review Summary: Overall I'm happy with them. I absolutely LOVE the feel. They spin OK on greats, but far from what a spin ball would do. Great ball, I would definatly purchase them again at the price.

Purchase: golfsmith.com, $12.99/dozen.
Pros: Long, soft, and cheap. It sounds sordid, doesn't it? But in reality, this is a true golf equipment value. Every time I drive one of these things, watching it take off like it's got wings, every time I enjoy it sticking the green on the approach, I feel like I'm beating the system because they're so inexpensive. It really does leap off the club like a Howitzer, and it really does hop once and then stop on those occasions that I strike it well.
Cons: The one potential drawback is a tendency towards higher trajectory than some balls, at least with my swing. For approach shots to slick greens, this is just fine. On a windy day or when you really want to playa punch shot, it can be a problem. The other possible bone of contention is that this particular model has been replaced by a 2003 model. I don't know to what extent the specs have changed if at all, but I've stocked up on the '02 model to be sure.
Quality: It's a beautiful, bright white. It will scuff a bit over 18 holes, but that doesn't hurt nearly as much when they're just a shade over $1 per ball, at least at closeout prices.

Review Summary: I tried these out as an experiment, and after the first round, I found the best deal on them I could & stocked up for the foreseeable future. Once again, long, soft, and cheap.
